Senior Class Meeting
The senior class meeting is an opportunity where the information that is covered here is outlined with our seniors and time is provided for seniors to ask follow-up questions. Our Senior Class meeting will be Thursday, May 15th during Advisory 9:16 AM - 9:47 AM. Our meeting will take place in the Auditorium. Follow-up information will be shared with all seniors via email following the meeting. We recognize that it is impossible for all to be able to attend on this date/time and will make sure that all seniors have a solid understanding of the information.
Senior Graduation Walk Tradition
We look forward to the opportunity to have our graduates visit their elementary and middle schools and have the chance to participate in our senior graduation walk(s). This is a great opportunity for our younger students who look up to you and aspire to be in your/their shoes one day to celebrate your/their graduation achievement. There will be a sign-up link here later in Spring.
Graduation Practice
Rehearsal will be held at the Kress Events Center at 7:30 AM on Friday, May 30th. Rehearsal will start promptly at 7:30 AM. Please plan for rehearsal to take up to 2.5 hours and arrive by 7:15 AM. Graduates will gather in the staging area, the West Gym located inside the Kress Events Center. After you note your seat assignment, you should be seated inside the bowl of the Kress. Students provide their own transportation. Please plan to park in the Kress Lot located on the North side of the Kress. Students who do not rehearse may not be eligible to participate in the graduation ceremony. If you have an extenuating circumstance preventing you from attending graduation practice, please contact your Associate Principal ahead of time. Students are encouraged to wear the shoes they plan to wear for the ceremony. If you are experiencing any barriers, please reach out to your School Social Worker for support.
Graduation Ticket Information
Each graduate will pick-up their graduation tickets when they pick up their cap/gown on May 14 or 15. Students will need to show their Preble ID to be able to pick up their tickets. Each graduate will receive an envelope with 7 tickets unless a prior request for additional tickets has been able to be accommodated or unless you have reached out to express that you do not need 7 tickets, in such cases, the number of tickets needed will be in your envelope. The deadline for ticket requests or extras is April 21, 2025 to afford time to prepare the envelopes for pick-up. Each person attending the graduation ceremony will be required to have a ticket (except those 2 and under who will remain on the lap of another for the duration of the ceremony). Our contact for ticket related inquiries is our School Registrar, Kris Hess. Her phone number is: 920-481-9136 and email kahess@gbaps.org.
