Class of 2026

Preble High School Graduation
Graduation:
Ceremony Date: May 30, 2026
Location: Kress Events Center (2358 Leon Bond Drive Green Bay, WI 54311)
Time: 11:00 a.m.
Graduation Practice:
Graduation practice will take place on Friday, May 29th at 2:00 PM at the Kress Events Center. Transportation is not provided. Please advise your student to be prompt.
Senior Class Meeting:
The senior class meeting is an opportunity where the information that is covered here is outlined with our seniors and time is provided for seniors to ask follow-up questions. Our Senior Class meeting will be Thursday, April 30th during Advisory 9:16 AM - 9:47 AM. Our meeting will take place in the Auditorium. Follow-up information will be shared with all seniors via email following the meeting. We recognize that it is impossible for all to be able to attend on this date/time and will make sure that all seniors have a solid understanding of the information.
Senior Graduation Walk Tradition:
We look forward to the opportunity to have our graduates visit their elementary and middle schools and have the chance to participate in our senior graduation walk(s). This is a great opportunity for our younger students who look up to you and aspire to be in your/their shoes one day to celebrate your/their graduation achievement.
Graduation Ticket Information:
Each graduate will pick-up their graduation tickets when they pick up their cap/gown on April 23rd or April 24th. Students will need to show their Preble ID to be able to pick up their tickets. Each graduate will receive an envelope with 7 tickets unless a prior request for additional
tickets has been able to be accommodated or unless you have reached out to express that you do not need 7 tickets, in such cases, the number of tickets needed will be in your envelope.
The deadline for ticket requests or extras is April 1, 2026 to afford time to prepare the envelopes for pick-up. Each person attending the graduation ceremony will be required to have a ticket (except those 2 and under who will remain on the lap of another for the duration of the ceremony). Our contact for ticket related inquiries (requests for additional tickets or updates for not needing the standard 7 initial tickets) is our School Registrar, Kris Hess. Her phone number is: 920-481-9136 and email kahess@gbaps.org.
The class of 2026 is one of our largest classes to date, therefore, we will note your request(s) for additional tickets but will not be able to advise until April 23rd. There is an overflow space/room at the Kress outside of the bowl that we anticipate the need to utilize to accommodate more supporters being onsite for the ceremony. We will do our best to balance everyone’s requests in an equitable and fair manner.
Graduation Ceremony/Graduation Day Reminders:
- All fines and miscellaneous school fees should be paid by 3:00 PM Wednesday, May 27th.
- Graduation starts promptly at 11:00 AM on Saturday, May 30th at the Kress Events Center. The address for the Kress Events Center is: 2358 Leon Bond Dr, Green Bay, WI 54311.
- All seniors will meet in the West Gym by 10:30 AM; 10:15 AM arrival is suggested. Parents/Guardians and friends may not be in the meeting room.
- Shoes and socks are visible underneath your gown. Please wear something appropriate and think ahead as to what your attire may look like in photos for you to enjoy in the years to come. The recommended dress for graduation is semi-formal. Consider bringing extra bobby pins and safety pins to secure your cap and/or gown. Your cap must be worn parallel with the floor, the tassel on the right side. The tassel remains on the right side throughout the ceremony until Mrs. Kuehn has you stand and move it.
- Nothing may be on your cap, unless prior approval has been provided. Complete the Graduation Adornment Form no later than Friday, May 15th. Completed forms should be submitted to Mrs. Kuehn. A student who has completed basic training and is an active member of any branch of the United States Armed Forces, may wear his or her military dress uniform.
- Cell phones should not be utilized during the ceremony by graduates; you are discouraged from leaving any valuables in the staging area during the ceremony.
- During the processional and recessional, be aware of the distance from the person in front of you.
- You will receive your diploma cover as you go across the stage. When your name is called on stage you will walk towards Mrs. Kuehn to shake hands with your right hand. Your left hand will be underneath to receive your diploma cover. Ambrosius photography will be capturing a photo of you. Photos are available for purchase.
- Your diploma will be given to you in the West Gym following the ceremony; please be sure to verify that you are leaving with your own.
- We discourage throwing caps or other items during the ceremony as it can be dangerous. We are not responsible for any missing parts (i.e. tassels) if you throw your cap.
- Seniors who are destructive or disruptive before, during, or after the ceremony will be escorted from the Kress Events Center. Students are asked to be respectful of their classmates and not holler or talk during the ceremony and especially during the name reading time so that all attendees can hear their graduate’s name being read.
Ceremony Information for Guests:
- Parents/Guardians should be seated no later than 10:45 AM.
- Parking is available in the surrounding lots around the Kress Events Center.
- The doors of the Kress Events Center will open at 10:00 AM.
- There is no assigned seating, seating is available on a ticketed entrance and first come first serve basis within the venue. Ushers will be on hand to assist with seating attendees. Ushers are available to assist. Please be mindful that should the handicap seating area become filled we may ask family members/companions to sit in the main concourse.
- Please urge your guests to avoid the following: no air horns or yelling as this prevents other parents from hearing their graduate’s name being read.
- Please do not bring balloons into the Kress Events Center. Balloons will be asked to be returned to your vehicles.
- To avoid congestion in the lobby area, we encourage picture taking to be done outside after the actual ceremony. Attendees may not come onto the Kress Events Center floor at any time. Please arrange a meeting place, after the ceremony, with your graduate afterwards. We will have our Preble backdrops set up throughout the Kress Center.
- Graduates will receive their diplomas in the West Gym after the ceremony.
