Any student who is passionate about fighting cancer and educating oneself as well as others about cancer.
Description:
Green Bay Preble's "StingCancer" Awareness Group is a passionate and committed collaboration of high school students, faculty and staff dedicated to reducing the effects of cancer by initiating and supporting programs and activities for the school and its surrounding community.
Time Commitment:
Our group meets every other Thursday throughout the school year for about an hour after school. We have fundraisers during the year to help support StingCancer. Also we have an abundance of activities that are voluntary. These are primarily on weeknights or weekends.
Procedures for Joining:
Come to the first meeting in September and be an active, involved member by attending meetings regularly and volunteering at outside events. Register on the Preble website under the Activities tab. Click on Online Registration and complete the information required.
