Dungeons and Dragons Club
Adventurers, there is no session this week. We’ll continue our quest next Tuesday, January 21st.
E-Sports Club
There will be no e-sports club this Thursday because of the finals schedule. We will resume on Thursday, January 23rd.
GBU Boys Swimming
This past weekend GBU boys swimming competed in the Sheboygan North relay meet. Winning an event were Connor Howe, Riley Komp, Kaiser Neverman, Mikhail Neverman, and Macoy Socha. Kaiser also led off the 800 free relay with a pool record in the 200 free. Congrats, and good luck this Tuesday at Sheboygan South.
Language Arts Academic Team
The language arts academic team meeting will be on Wednesday, January 22nd to allow for you to focus on your upcoming final exams. If you have not already done so, please stop by Room 129 and pick up your copy of this year’s competition novel Lord of the Flies.
Link Crew
Attention all freshmen, today is our annual Cocoa & Cram. This is an opportunity for you to study for your exams after school. It will take place in the LMC from 3 until 4pm. Link Leaders will be there to help answer any questions you may have about semester exams, as well as provide an area for you to study. There will be hot chocolate and snacks,too. Bring your friends and come study!!

Semester Exams Breakfast/Lunch Hours
Breakfast and lunch will be served on Wednesday and Thursday. Breaks starts at 7:00 AM, Lunch starts at 9:00 - 12:20 pm.
Only breakfast will be served on Friday.
There will be no dinner program Wednesday or Thursday night.
Buses will run their regular schedule 7:30 am and 3:00 pm.
Spring Play
The spring play is looking for student director candidates for the spring production of Puffs. Students should have at least two years production experience and strong organization and communication skills. Please stop into Room 123 by Tuesday, January 21st for an application. Auditions for the spring play - PUFFS: Seven Eventful Years at a Certain School fo Magic will be held on Wednesday, January 29th at 3:10 pm in Room 123. Students need to have a comedic monologue. Perusals are available in the LMC beginning on Thursday, January 16th. Any questions, please see Mr. Schuh.
StingCancer
On Tuesday, January 21st, StingCancer and Preble girls basketball team, will be partnering together for “Hoops for Hope”. There will be ribbon cookies, long sleeved t-shirts, and a raffle to help support StingCancer. During halftime there will be a Miracle Minute while Preble’s drumline performs. Come join the fun and cheer on our lady Hornets.
Winterfest Week
It’s a new year, and next week will be the start of a new semester and Winterfest week.
To kick off the week, we have Gray Groutfit day on Tuesday. So wear as much gray clothing as possible! Student Council has lots planned and would like to see everyone get involved. More details to come later this week! However, we would like to mention that next week Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday Winterfest dance tickets will be sold outside the auditorium, during the lunch hours and after school, for just $10.
