The language arts academic team will meet today after school in Room 129. We will discuss the competition essay and practice trivia. Please see Mrs. Guerndt if you are unable to make the meeting.

Preble FFA

On Tuesday evening, Preble FFA members Bennett Goddard, Alexis Rabas, Thijs Laus and Allison Linsmeier competed in the District FFA Leadership Development events at Luxemburg Casco High School. Congratulations to these Preble Students for their efforts in developing important career and communication skills.

Alexis Rabas competed in Employability Skills

Bennett Goddard competed in Extemporaneous Speaking Special congratulations to Allison Linsmeier who took first place in the FFA Creed Contest Special congratulations also to Thijs Laus who took first place in Extemporaneous Speaking Contest. Both Allison and Thijs will now move on to the Sectional Contest in March. Good luck to both Allison and Thijs in the next level of FFA Leadership Competitions.

Preble Pals

Preble pals will be having their January activity tonight, January 29th, at Riviera Lanes at 3:15 pm. Cost for members of Preble Pals to attend is $3 and will include bowling, pizza and soda.

Talent Show

The Talent Show is on Friday, February 7th!

This is your last chance to audition for the Talent Show starting at 3:10 pm in the Auditorium. Please come to the auditorium right after school, even if you have signed up for a later time. We will go through all acts as quickly as possible.

Bands do NOT need to bring their instruments. We just need your lyrics so we can make sure they are appropriate. All other acts, please be prepared to give us a 1-2 minute sample of what you will be performing.

All appropriate acts will be included in the show – there are no cuts.

Teens For Change

Teens for Change is collecting food donations for Paul’s Pantry until Friday. Drop off your donations in the library.
