The Buzz

Are you looking for something to do, check out The Buzz--our very own on-line school newspaper.  Go to preblebuzz.org to read about what is happening.

Chess Club

Chess Club will meet today after school from 3:05 to 3:30 pm in Room B116.  Due to the shortened time frame, all games will be played as blitz with each player having five minutes per game for all of their moves.

Dungeons and Dragons Club

Our next session is tonight at 3:30 pm in Room 132. All players should attend if they are able.

E-Sports Club

There will be no club meeting this Thursday due to parent teacher conferences.

Key Club Hygiene Drive

Preble High School’s Key Club is working with 91.5 The Family to collect hygiene products that will be distributed to area shelters and crisis programs. Help for the Homeless will be collecting personal care items such as cleaning supplies, laundry supplies, and hygiene products from now until March 8. Please drop off any materials you wish to donate in the LMC.  Also, Monday is the deadline to sign up for the Teddy Bear Toss. See Classroom for details.

Scholarship Workshop Day

Today is our next Scholarship Workshop Day in the LMC. Teachers, at this time please send a representative down to the commons with the number of seniors in your classroom to receive a handout regarding today’s event.   Whether you are following up from the last meeting or starting from scratch, please plan to join us. Local Scholarship Foundations provide a combined $100,000+ a year to Preble students, and we don’t want you to miss out.

StingCancer

StingCancer does not have a meeting tomorrow, but will reconvene next Thursday.

Student Services

Do you need help preparing for college? Apply to be a part of the GEAR UP Program!  GEAR UP is open to students in grades 9-12 and offers career exploration, tutoring, visits to college campuses, financial aid assistance, the potential for up to $3,500 in scholarships and grants, and much more.  There will be an informational session on this program in the LMC on Tuesday, March 24th from 5-5:45 pm and 6:15-7 pm.
