Black Out Friday

Friday is black out day! Make sure you wear your black gear and show your Preble Pride! If you have not gotten your black out day shirt, they are available for purchase in the main office until supplies run out.


Cancelled

The speakers who were scheduled to present in the LMC during the school day this afternoon had to cancel due to illness. This event will be rescheduled. Students need to remain in their regular classes all afternoon today. The Anti-bullying event is still happening in the LMC after school today. Please come to the LMC right after school today for free pizza and an amazing student panel.


Europe Trip

Did you know that Preble students are taking a historical tour of Europe this summer, in June of 2020?  You can still join in the fun. There will be an informational meeting on Thursday, October 10th (tomorrow evening) at 7pm in Room 203 (Mrs. Culver’s classroom).  All students are welcome! Bringing a parent is encouraged.  


GBU Girls Swimming

Last night, the GBU girls varsity and junior varsity dominated Sheboygan South, winning all but one race.  Brigitta Neverman also broke the school and pool record in the 500 free. Great job girls!


Girls Golf

Congratulations to the girls golf team for finishing 2nd at the WIAA sectional meet and qualifying for the state golf tournament. 

Leading the team were Kaci Duquaine 83, Emma Onesti 85, Lauren Bonetti 85, Sophia Zerillo 95 and

Kayla Willems 102.  


HOSA

The second HOSA meeting of the school year will be on Thursday, October 10th at 7:00 am in Room 137. 


Language Arts Academic Team 

What is the name of the Pulitzer Prize winning novel that is told through the eyes of the protagonist Scout and details the events of her small town of Maycomb, Alabama including the court trial of a black man who is defended by her father?  If you answered To Kill a Mockingbird, you’re right!  If you enjoy trivia questions like this, than the Language Arts Academic Team is for you  We will have our first informational meeting tomorrow at 3:05 pm in Room 129. Please see Mrs. Guerndt in 129 if you cannot make the meeting, but would still like to join.  


Link Crew

Link Crew Leaders, today is our monthly meeting. In lieu of our usual business, we are asking that all leaders attend our Anti-Bullying and Mental Health Awareness Student Panel afterschool from 3-4 pm in the LMC. Free pizza will be served.  Please join us.


MAC Scholars

MAC Scholars will meet after school today in the LMC for the Mental Health and Bullying Awareness Event and free pizza!


Skills USA

Congratulations to Luke Nowak for taking third place at yesterday’s Skills USA Welding Challenge.


Student Panel

October is National Bullying Prevention Awareness month. Please join the Preble Peer Leaders, in our annual student panel today after school in the LMC.  Come hear stories from students who have experienced and overcome incidences of bullying, as well as stories from students who have struggled with their mental health.  Come join us remove the stigma and break the silence! 


Student Services

Seniors, on Monday, October 14th at 6:00 pm in the LMC, Preble will be hosting College Goal Wisconsin, a free event for families to get help completing their Free Application for Federal Student Aid, or FAFSA. This is the application that makes you eligible for money to help pay for college via loans and grants. All student attendees will be entered in a drawing to win a $1,000 college scholarship. You will need your social security number and 2018 federal tax return in order to complete the FAFSA. See your counselor for more information.
