Today’s Fun Fact - Hershey’s Kisses are named after the kissing sound the deposited chocolate makes as it falls from the machine on the conveyor belt.

  1. Boys Cross Country - Congratulations to the boys cross country team on winning the FRCC meet last night with all 7 runners making first or second team all conference.  This is the 7th time in the past 8 years the boys have won the conference meet.  First team all conference included Brett Litkey,          Michael Kreuser, and Fran Haanen.  Second team all conference were Ethan Raye, Josh Helgeson, Garrison Willems, and Aaron Paris.

  1. Girls Cross Country - Coach Haller would like to offer Congratulations to the Preble girls cross country team for their efforts in the FRCC spring conference race last night.  Earning 1st team all-conference were Hailey Novitski, who won the meet and is conference champion.  Elise Smith was also 1st team all conference with 4th place finish.  Emma Gorder finished with 2nd team all conference honors and Emma Dornbush, Ava Debaker and Paige Dessart were honorable mention all conference.  Good luck to our teams as they compete in sectionals a week from Saturday for a chance to qualify for the state meet.

  1. Graduation Speaker Auditions - Any seniors interested in trying out to be a graduation ceremony speaker should pick up an information sheet from their language arts teacher or the main office.  The speech should focus on the class motto,   "Knowing how to weather a storm is important but so is dancing in the rain".

Auditions will be held on Monday, May 10 in Room 131 at 3:15 PM.

The deadline to sign up is the Friday before auditions.

See Mrs. Kreuser in Room 131 with any questions.

  1. In-person Graduation - Seniors, we are planning on in-person graduation this year.  We are equally excited to share that students are able to decorate their cap, but must have received prior approval from the Principal before doing so.

If you are interested in decorating your cap, stop in Student Services to pick up a Graduation Adornment Form.  Complete this form, no later than Friday, May 21, and return it to Student Services.

  1. Intra-City Student Council (ICSC) - It’s time for the 2021-22 ICSC elections! If you are a great leader, motivated, and interested in making an impact, then join ICSC.
