  1. Blood Drive: Can you spare a pint? The average adult body contains 10 pints of blood and each donation can help save up to 3 lives.

Student Council will be hosting its last blood drive on Thursday, May 5. This is next week, so if you are 16 or older and would like to donate please fill out this Google form. Important information is listed on the Google form, so be sure to take some time to read it. Also, you must fill out a parent consent form if you are 16 years old. These forms can be found in the Main Office. Each donor will also receive a $10 gift card to the place of your choice (10 options of restaurants and other places will be provided). Just be sure to give your email address to receive the gift card. If you have any questions, send Mrs. Enderby ([email protected]) an email.

  1. Boys Track: Congratulations to the boys track and field team in its huge victory at the 42nd Annual Preble Relays track meet last Friday. The boys won by 6 points over a very strong Kimberly team.

  1. Music Department Activities: Have you ever wanted to get involved in the music department? Were you not able to fit music into your schedule? Guess what? You can still get involved. The music department will be beginning audition workshops for our 2022-2023 extra curricular groups throughout the month of May. Starting this week, we offer workshops for Color Guard and Drumline. These workshops will start with the basics of technique and the goal is to get you ready for an audition for membership. Some musical background/knowledge (some band, choir, or orchestra or private piano or guitar study) is necessary.

Color Guard Workshop #1 - Tuesday April 29 3:15 - 4 pm, Room 189 (The Choir room)

Drumline Workshops - Wednesday April 27 and May 4  3:15 - 4:30, Room 197 (The Band room)

Workshop and audition information for the award-winning Preble Show Choirs and Musical will be announced soon! Stay tuned, and hope to see some new faces in the music department!
