Today’s Fun Fact: Only two people have ever swum the entire length of the 2,350-mile Mississippi River: Slovenian long-distance swimmer Martin Strel in 2002 and American former Navy SEAL Chris Ring in 2015. Strel swam for 68 days in a row; Ring took one day off a week, taking 181 days.

!MAC: MAC Scholars & College Bound will not meet after school today since we met at Edison yesterday. Have a great week! 

Culinary: After a two year hiatus, Culinary Arts will be bringing back their famous fresh squeezed lemonade Thursday.  Our homemade, fresh squeezed lemonade will be available tomorrow during all lunch periods for just $2. Look for us near the ticket booth in the commons.

Intramural Basketball: Intramural Basketball - The schedule is complete for intramural basketball and has been emailed to the team captains.  Please check in with them to see what time you play.  The league begins on Monday - games are at 7:30 and 8:30.  Good Luck to all.

Language Arts Academic: The language arts academic team will hold a brief meeting today after school in room 129.  We will be going over this year’s competition format.  Let Mrs. Guerndt know if you are unable to attend but still want to be a part of this year’s team. It’s not too late to join!

Preble Boys’ Tennis: Thursday December 2nd 3:30 pm-4:15 pm is a boys’ tennis organizational meeting. Please report to the gym lobby entrance by concessions. 

StingCancer: StingCancer will not be having a large meeting tomorrow. We will see you on December 16th. We would like to thank everyone that donated books in honor of Preble’s beloved librarian, Lori Barber, who lost her life to cancer. Over 300 books were collected for HSHS St. Vincent’s Children Cancer Center and Aurora BayCare Oncology Department. These books will bring a smile to those dealing with cancer. Thank you again!

Yearbook: Yearbook staff and anyone who would like to be part of the yearbook, please come to room 205 after school today for our meeting. For all students, stay tuned tomorrow for a survey you can be a part of to help choose the cover of this year’s book.  Thank you!
