Black History Month Wisconsin Role Models: 

Boys Golf: There is an informational meeting today after school in room 145 for all boys interested in playing golf this spring. The meeting will end around 3:30. Please join the Google Classroom with the code frgs444

Preble FFA Scavenger Hunts

Scavenger Hunt #1: 

Locate the FFA emblem posted around the school.  If you find it, bring this to room 187 and receive a prize.

Scavenger Hunt #2:

The first to find this gold FFA medallion will receive a $25 gift card.  Each day in announcements pictures and/or clues will be given. This is open to any Preble student to locate.

Clue #1:  I can be found inside of the Preble High School building.  

Clue #2: I like the outdoors and quality.

Clue #3: Getting warmer

Forensics: Congratulations to the Preble Forensics team that advanced to District last night at West. The entire Forensics team will compete at District for a shot at State on Thursday, March 10th. Congratulations to our team that includes: Avery DeBlaey (Prose), Cameron Maricque (Prose), Abbey Mommaerts (Prose), Chelsea Kiefer (Poetry), Kova Bronander (Poetry), Sophia Young (Impromptu), and Nora Oleniczak (Public Address). We also want to shout out our members who performed asynchronously at District. We want to acknowledge: Emma Dornbush (storytelling), Jon Wainwright (Solo Acting) and Sam Hoefs (Solo Acting). 

Reminder to all Forensics for our extremely quick meeting on Tuesday, March 1st right after school in 123 to give out information on the District. Students can begin signing up for practice sessions starting tomorrow. 

Language Arts Academic Team: The Language Arts Academic Team will meet today after school in room 129.  We will talk about the competition next month and practice trivia. All are welcome! It is not too late to join.  See Mrs. Guerndt if you can’t make the meeting.  

Spring Play: Any students interested in being a crew member for the Spring Play, Romeo and Juliet, we will have an informational meeting tomorrow Thursday, February 24th from 3:10-3:30 in 123. At this time, students will be able to sign up for crews. If you can not make it - see Mr. Schuh in123.

Any students interested in non speaking roles in Romeo and Juliet, please see Mr. Schuh in 123. We have some non speaking ensemble roles still available. A great opportunity with a minimal time investment.  

Strength Rising: Strength Rising is a support group started by Preble students. It is a safe place to talk about pain and struggles and build up your strength to endure through the hard stuff. If you are interested in Strength Rising, please come to the LMC Fiction Section Period 4 TODAY.
