Today’s Fun Fact: There are 293 ways to make change for a dollar.

Word Of The Day: arcane - Adjective (ahr-keyn) - mysterious or secret

ACT: Juniors, you will be taking the ACT tomorrow, March 8th. You will be given a “Golden Ticket” for participating in the test. “Golden Tickets” can be used to enter drawings for a chance to win prizes ranging from gas cards to an Apple Watch. Be sure to drop off your “Golden Tickets” in the main office by the end of the day on March 8th for your chance to win.

The rooms that you are assigned to take the ACT on March 8th are posted by the LMC. Please look to see what room you will be testing in and plan to arrive to your room by 7:30 am with a collection of #2 pencils and a calculator.

The ACT does not allow examinees to bring a cell phone or smartwatch into a testing room. We strongly encourage students to leave their cell phones at home or in their car on March 8th. If you feel the need to bring your cell phone or Smartwatch to school on the ACT testing day, you will be required to power it down and turn it over to the staff member administering the ACT in your testing room for the duration of the test.

Please note: Only juniors are to report on Tuesday, March 8th.  All other students do not need to report on this day. Good Luck on the test!

Civics Team:  If you are interested in joining the Civics Team this school year, please come to an informational meeting after school on Wednesday 3/9 in Room 105. If you have any questions, contact Mr. Pelot ([email protected]) or Mr. Wiskerchen ([email protected]

Dungeons and Dragons Club: The results are in! Most respondents said that they can (and want to) come in for D&D club tomorrow March 8, so we will still have our meeting at the regular time: 3:15 in room 132. Check with your DM that they will be able to come in to play and work with your friends to organize rides as needed.

Girls Soccer: There is an open gym for all girls interested in playing Girls Soccer TONIGHT from 7:30-9pm and TOMORROW night from 6-7:30! DO NOT MISS THESE!

New Scholar: ALL NEW Scholars students will meet after school today- Monday, March 7th- and get bused to UWGB! Buses will leave promptly between 3:10-3:15pm so be on time! Preble students- Meet by the main entrance closest to the parking lot. Drop off is at 5:30pm at your respective schools. See you after school!
