Attention juniors and seniors, the ASVAB will be given on Thursday, October 11th in Room 124. Sign up in the Career Center. The first 20 will be allowed to take the assessment. The ASVAB Career Exploration Program can provide you with important information about your skills, abilities, and interests--and set you on the right course for a satisfying career.  See Mr. Pannier if you have any questions.


The first FCCLA meeting of the school year will be on Tuesday, October 2nd, after school in Room 137. FCCLA is a National Student Organization. Do you love kids? Do you love to cook? Do you want to increase your leadership skills or be a part of community service events? Join us on Tuesday to see what our group is all about! Bring a friend- snacks will be provided.

GBU Girls Swim Team

The GBU Girl's swim team attended the Cardinal Invite in Fond Du Lac on Saturday. Ella Sieber took 2nd Place in the 200 freestyle. Brigitta Neverman was 3rd in the 100 Butterfly, and 2nd in the 100 Backstroke. Both of the girl's were members of the relay teams, the 200 Medley relay got 3rd place and the 200 Freestyle Relay got 2nd Place. Way to go girls! Go GBU!


Get-It-Done-Day (Seniors)


Tomorrow, Tuesday,  October 2nd is an important day for Preble Seniors applying for college and technical college. School counselors, along with NWTC and UWGB staff, will spend periods 1-8 working directly with seniors in Room 124 and the LMC to complete the FAFSA and college applications. Seniors, please plan at least one period to work with us on October 2nd. Ideally during your study hall, lunch, or a class with your teacher’s permission.

Golden Apple Awards

Partners in Education, a program of the Greater Green Bay Chamber is kicking off the 26th annual Golden Apple Awards.  Each year, the Golden Apple Awards celebrates educational excellence. Students are encouraged to nominate their teacher or teams of teachers for the award before before Wednesday, October 31st.  Nomination forms are available in the main office and online at greatergbc.org/goldenapples.

Language Arts Academic Team

Do you like reading classic and modern literature?  Do you enjoy learning trivia about a variety of famous authors and their works?  Are you willing to read, discuss, and analyze literature from various authors? If you answered yes to any of these questions, than the language arts academic team is for you! Come to the first informational meeting at

The PSAT registration has now been opened to sophomores!! Any sophomore or junior that is interested in taking the PSAT, the registration deadline is next Monday, October 8th. Make sure to register online. The test is on Wednesday, October 10th and is $20.00. The registration instructions and PSAT student guides are in Student Services. Come pick up your student guide to start working on practice questions today.
