Preble Pride Award
Today the Preble Pride Award is being given to a student for going above and beyond what is expected.  This student is: Alex Torres

He has displayed outstanding pride in himself, in his community, and in his school, and therefore is being presented with this prestigious award.  Congratulations! Please come to the main office if you aren’t already here.

Blood Drive
Students, did you know that blood cannot be manufactured? It has to come from generous donors like you. Please sign up for the upcoming blood drive, this Tuesday, December 5th. You may sign up in the main office or with a Student Council member. You will receive a Culver’s coupon and have the opportunity to win a t-shirt. If you sign up for the blood drive, remember to bring a photo ID on Tuesday and, if you are 16, to have a parent consent form signed. If you have any questions, please email Mrs. Enderby.


Boys Basketball Tickets
The Preble boys basketball program travels to Milwaukee North this Friday, December 1st.  Preble will pre-sell tickets after school today and before school tomorrow.  Tickets can be purchased in the main office. This will be your last chance to get tickets.  The Milwaukee Public Schools do not sell tickets at the door.  All tickets must be purchased in advance.


Forensics Team
Are you interested in building your college resume as you polish your speaking skills? The Forensics Team might be for you! We will have an introductory meeting for the new season today at 3:00 PM. This will be a half hour meeting where we will introduce the new coaches, preview the upcoming season, and preview upcoming categories. If you cannot make this meeting, or if you have any questions please see Mr. Schuh or Ms. Nellis. 


Ice Bear Hockey Home Game
Come on out to Cornerstone Ice arena Friday night to watch your Bay Area Ice Bears take on University School for their first home game of the season!  This will be an intense match up between conference rivals.  Puck drops at 5:00 pm for JV and 8:00 pm for varsity.  Don't forget your student activity pass will get you in for free.  Come cheer Kamdyn, Grace, and Halle on to victory!
Preble Dance Team

The Preble dance team will be having their annual showcase tonight in the large gym starting at 6:30 pm.  The girls will show their three competition routines, solos and duets. Friends, family and Preble staff are encouraged to attend to cheer the girls on and send them off to their first competition this weekend. Attendees are encouraged to bring a canned food item to donate to a local shelter. 


Silent Auction
The Silent Art Auction ends tomorrow. Bids start as low as 25 cents. Stop by the Art rooms and check out all the one-of-a-kind artwork on display. Place your bid in the binder in Art room 183. This Friday after school, the highest bid takes the artwork home. 


StingCancer
There will be a StingCancer meeting in the LMC today at 3:10 pm.  We will be having a little fun tonight.  Hope to see you tonight.
