Blood Drive
Students, this is a reminder that the blood drive is tomorrow. Third hour teachers, if you have any blood drive appointment slips, please pass them out at this time. Students, you can still sign up for the blood drive and will receive your appointment slip tomorrow morning. When you donate, you will receive a Culver’s coupon for a free pint of ice cream. Remember to bring a photo ID and your signed parent consent form, if you are 16. If you have any questions, please email Mrs. Enderby.


Cap and Gown Make Up Day
Seniors, on Wednesday, February 7th is cap and gown order day.  If you have not ordered and paid for your cap and gown, please be sure to bring your money to school on Wednesday so you can place your order.  Mr. Brick will be set up in the commons during the lunch hours.


GBU Swim Team
On Saturday, the GBU boys swim team took 2nd place in the conference meet at Sheboygan South.  The team also broke multiple conference records.  The 100 Breast and 100 Fly record was broken by Kaiser Neverman.  The 200 Medley Relay was broken by John Gahnz, Kaiser Neverman, Benedict Janowski, and Kaen Baxter.  The 400 Relay record was broken by Benedict Janowski, Riley Komp, John Gahnz, and Kaiser Neverman! John Gahnz placed 1st in the 100 Back and 2nd in the 200 IM and was named conference swimmer of the year.  Top 8 finishes included Connor Howe, Macoy Socha, Will Adams, Robert Cantrall, Riley Komp, John Gahnz, Kaiser Neverman, Benedict Janowski, and Kaen Baxter! Great job guys! Come cheer us on at sectionals on Saturday at Neenah! 


HOSA
Our next HOSA meeting will be on Wednesday, February 7th. after school in Room 137.

Brittany Rupp will be our guest speaker, a former Preble student who’s premed at St. Norbert College.   She will be sharing her story of getting into the Medical College of Wisconsin, as well as sharing her life changing Medical Mission experience she just returned from.  

We also will have sign ups for our Valentine’s Day fundraiser.  


Pizza Ranch Fundraiser
Staff and students, don’t feel like cooking tonight? Well we have the plan for you, stop by Pizza Ranch tonight for dinner to help support the Parent Network. Ten percent of the proceeds made between the hours of 4 and 8 pm  will go towards this year’s post-prom party and grad party. So stop out to support the Preble Parent Network. Also, this is a reminder to Student Council members to bring your parent release form with you tonight and to wear a preble shirt.


Preble FBLA Places 2nd at 2018 FBLA Regional Leadership Conference 
This past Saturday, Preble FBLA members competed against students from over 30 area high schools at the 2018 FBLA Region 3 Leadership Conference at Two Rivers High School.  Overall, Preble FBLA placed 2nd for the Outstanding Chapter award.  
 
The following members placed in the top three of their event and will compete at the 2018 Wisconsin FBLA State Leadership Conference in La Crosse, WI this upcoming April:

Scholarship Workshop
Seniors, tomorrow, Tuesday, February 6th-- in the LMC from 2-4 pm advisors from Scholarship Inc and Greater Green Bay Community Foundation will be here to talk to you about different scholarship opportunities and how to apply! There will also be an evening session from 5-7 pm and parents are welcome to attend. 


Senior Handout
Teachers and study hall monitors with seniors third period, please count the number of seniors in your class (who are with you) and send a representative from your class to pick up an information sheet to be handed out to every senior. The handouts will be distributed in the commons.  Please do this now.  Thank you.
