Culinary Arts
All students, tomorrow, Culinary Arts will be selling our very own “famous” lemonade! This fresh squeezed lemonade will be sold for only $2 per cup.  Our stand is located across from Student Services.  We will continue to sell all week.


Forensics
Reminder to all team members that our February meeting will be on Wednesday, February 14th at 3:10 pm in Room 125. This is a mandatory meeting for all participants who are performing in Sub District on Tuesday, February 20th. If you can not make it, please see Mr. Schuh or Ms. Nellis.


GBU Swim Team
On Saturday, the GBU swim team took 3rd out of 11 teams at the sectional meet! Taking first in the 200 medley relay was John Gahnz, Kaiser Neverman, Benedict Janowski, and Kaen Baxter. Kaiser Neverman won the 200 IM, John Gahnz took 3rd, and Connor Howe 8th.  Riley Komp took 7th in the 200 Free, Kaen Baxtertook 5th in the 50 Free, Kaiser won the 100 Fly with Benedict taking 7th, Riley Komp took 8th in the 100 Free, John Gahnz won the 100 Back with Connor Howe taking 7th, and Macoy Socha took 4th in the 100 breast. The 200 relay of Connor Howe, Benedict Janowski, Riley Komp and Kaen Baxter took 4th and the relay of John Gahnz, Kaen Baxter, Benedict Janowski and Kaiser Neverman took 2nd in the 400 relay! Also scoring points in the meet were Dorjan Enick, Robert Cantrall, Joseph Stoa, and Max Priybl! Great job guys! Come cheer us on a state next Saturday!


GSA
GSA will be meeting today after school in the LMC. All are welcome. 


Language Arts Academic Team
Remember to meet in the LMC at 7:30 am tomorrow morning to take the essay portion of the academic competition.  Bring something to write with and your copy of The Road.  


Political Awareness Club
Would you like to debate whether or not gun control is necessary? If so, please join the Political Awareness Club tomorrow in Room 206 from 3:15 to 3:45 pm. 


Preble  FFA 
The Leadership Development Event judges from the business and agriculture industry of Brown County want to thank all the Preble FFA members who served as hosts and timekeepers for last Thursday night’s FFA Career Development Events hosted here at Preble High School.
 
Congratulations to Kasey Richert and Rhiannon Grenier for competing in the FFA Employment Skills Contest.
 
Good luck to Rhiannon Grenier.  Rhiannon took 1st place in the FFA Employment Skills Contest and will compete at the Sectional FFA Contest in March.
 
Great work to all who made this event a success.


Preble Track
Come one, come all to be a part of one of the most storied traditions at Preble High School.  The Preble High School Track team is holding a meeting this Thursday at 3pm in the auditorium.  Come meet the coaching staff, get information about the season, and see who else will be joining this roster of incredible athletes.  This is for both the boys and girls teams.  Please see Coach Marcelle in 114 or Coach Kline in 207 with any questions. 


Spring Play
All students who auditioned for the Spring Play, She Kills Monsters, a cast list will be posted on the Set Shop door as well as room 125 tomorrow afternoon, Tuesday, February 13th. Please initial if you accept your role. We will have a mandatory cast meeting on Friday, February 16th at 3:10 in room 125.

Yearbook staff, please come to computer lab 158 after school Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday of this week and next week as we need to work on pages for the next deadline. We need help entering student names, pictures, and designing pages.

Do you want to participate in yearbook?  Please come to computer lab 158 on these days to find out what it is all about.  We need help working on pages, taking pictures, and writing copy.
