Bead Mural

Anyone interested in adding beads to the Preble Pride Bead Mural?  Ms. Nooyen will be in the LMC today 7th hour and after school to help you add your beads. It’s easy. Choose your four beads representing the 4 pillars of Preble and add them anywhere you see glue. Listen to announcements for the next scheduled time or teachers can contact Ms. Nooyen to schedule a time with their class.

Drama Club

Interested in musicals and theaters?  Drama Club will be having an introductory meeting on Monday, September 24th at 3:10 pm in Room 123. During this meeting, we will be discussing our first possible trip to Chicago to see Dear Evan Hanson in the spring. If you are interested, but can not make it, please see Mr. Schuh.

GBU Swim Meet


Preble varsity Ella Sieber took 2nd place in the 200 free and 2nd place in the 500 free.  

Brigitta Neverman took 1st place in the 200 IM and 1st place in the 100 back.

Madi Wucherer took 3rd place in the 100 fly

Girls Tennis

The varsity tennis team lost a tough match to Southwest on Tuesday, 6-1.  Earning the lone win for the Lady Hornets was Krysten Capwell at #1 singles with a 7-5, 6-0 victory.  The junior varsity earned a 4-3 win over Southwest.


Attention students who are interested in the possibility of attending a historically black college or university, the Green Bay Area Public School District is offering two opportunities to visit HBCU college fairs this fall. The first visit is to the HBCU Chicago Football Classic & College Fair at Soldier Field on Saturday, September 22nd. The second is to the HBCU Milwaukee College Fair at Vincent High School on Saturday, October 6th. For more information, please come to Student Services.


What a great day to be a hornet! It’s nice to see all the crazy hair and socks! The hall hunt for today is colorful socks. If you find a picture in the hallway, grab it and take it to the main office to redeem your prize. Tomorrow is Tropical Thursday, so whip out the shades and dress in Hawaiian and summer clothing. The hall hunt for tomorrow is a pink flower.

Homecoming tickets will be on sale the rest of the week, during the lunch hours and after school, for $10. They must be purchased during the week, as tickets are not sold the night of the dance.

This Friday, FFA and Student Council will be hosting a cookout during the lunch hours, outside on the patio. There will be music, bounce houses, games, face painting, food and great entertainment! Make sure to bring some extra cash! Also, if you are having a float in the parade, the line up will be available in the main office tomorrow.  Remember to meet by Edison at 3:00 PM to get lined up, as the parade starts at 3:30 PM. We look forward to seeing your school spirit! Go hornets!

MAC Scholars & College Bound

MAC Scholars & College Bound will meet today after school from 3:00 to 3:45 pm in Room 107.  


Tonight is the night. Homecoming Powderpuff!  There are still positions available for girls to play.  Come join the fun. Come join the tradition. Come to the field at 4:00 ready to play.

StingCancer is having a informational meeting tomorrow in the LMC after school.  If you ever wondered what StingCancer is and what we do, please come to the meeting and hear how we help those dealing with and going through cancer.

There will be a yo yo club meeting tomorrow night after school until 4pm in Room 205.

Yo Yo Club T-shirts:  The yo yo club is selling t-shirts.  You do not have to be in yo yo club to buy one.  The t-shirts are $10. Stop by Room 205 or see Michael Vance to purchase a shirt.
