Attention all teachers, faculty, and staff, if you haven’t added your beads to the bead mural, you will have the opportunity to add them before today’s faculty meeting. Ms. Nooyen will be in the LMC after school by the bead mural for you to add your beads before the faculty meeting starts.

Chess Club

Chess Club will meet this Wednesday from 3:05 to 4:00 in Room B116.


It’s time to communicate, yes, it is that time of year! The Preble High School Forensics team will kick off their season with a team meeting on Wednesday, December 12th at 3:10 pm in Room 123. Forensics, a speaking competitions, features categories in performance and public speaking.  At this meeting, we will be providing season information, as well as overviewing categories and rule changes. All students are invited. It’s challenging, it’s fun and It looks great on a college application. If you are have any questions, please see Mr. Schuh or Ms. Nellis.

GBU Boys Swimming

Congrats to the GBU boys swim team for finishing third overall in Saturday's Oshkosh West Invite.  Swimmers who scored included Joe Stoa, Riley Komp, Kaiser Neverman, Connor Howe, Macoy Socha, Kyler Simonet, Ben Fuentes, Andrew Kuznetsov, and Connor Johnson.  Two pool records were also broken by Kaiser Neverman in the 200 IM and the 100 fly. Come cheer GBU on at Southwest high school this Tuesday for their dual meet against Sheboygan North! Good luck GBU!  

Girls Lacrosse

The GB United Girls Lacrosse team will be holding pre-season captains’ practices on December 10th and 17th from 8:30 pm to 9:30 pm.  Practices will be indoors on the Turf at Sports Emporium in De Pere. Practice is open to all interested players and returning players.  Parents are also welcome to stop in to ask questions.

Hamilton Field Trip

Anyone going on the Hamilton Field Trip, we are going to be having an informational meeting on Monday, December 10th in Room 123 at 3:10 pm. This is going to be a twenty minute meeting, and we are going to give you all the information that you will need for our field trip on January 9th. If you have any questions, please see Mr. Schuh. At this meeting, we will be accepting the $72 transportation fee for the trip. All participants must be paid in full by Friday, December 21st.

Key Club

Key club members, want to get into the spirit of the giving season? There will be card making in Mrs. Kreuser’s room on Wednesday. Stop in before school at 7:00 am or after school at 3:05 pm to make some holiday cards that will be donated to a local nursing home. Important information about December events will also be discussed, so bring your friends and spread some holiday cheer!

Also, don’t forget that out Handbags for Hope event is Thursday night.  Check Classroom for details and to sign up.

My Education My Way

Sophomores, “My Education My Way,” a presentation conducted by NWTC, UW-Green Bay, and St. Norbert College representatives will be held in the Preble auditorium for all sophomores tomorrow, Tuesday, December 4th.    

This presentation will help you plan for your future course selections, college options, and career pathways. The college representatives will also provide in-depth information about how to increase your chances of being accepted into college!  

All sophomores will attend this presentation during their science class period.  

Preble Pals

Preble Pals will be having our December meeting this Wednesday December 5th, at 3:00 pm in Room 163.  Please see Mrs. VanderHeyden with questions.
