Cap and Gown Order Makeup Day

Seniors, Wednesday February 6th is the make up day for cap and gown order day.  If you have not already turned in your money, please be sure to bring your money to school on order day for your cap and gown package.  Brickhouse School Services will be set up outside the cafeteria during the lunch hours.


Dance Team 

The dance team earned second place in the state for D1 kick.  Congrats to Michaela Eberhardt for earning a spot on the all state dance team, which is made up of the top dancers in the entire state. She was the only one from the eastern region chosen!



FBLA Regional Results

This past Saturday, 24 members of the Preble chapter of FBLA competed at the Region 3 Leadership Conference at Coleman High School.  Thirteen members were medalists by placing in the top five of their event. The following members placed in the top three in their event and have qualified for state:

Madison Adams - 1st place in Electronic Career Portfolio

Lauren Bushmaker and Simran Challana - 2nd place in Emerging Business Issues

Lydia Brosig and Hannah Vanpay - 2nd place in Hospitality Management

Eleanor Stoa - 1st place in Introduction to Public Speaking

Phillip Balch - 2nd place in Sales Presentation

Lauren Bonetti and Morgan Kennedy - 1st Place in Social Media Campaign

GBU Swimming

Boys swimming competed in conference this weekend, with the team placing 3rd overall.  Swimmers that received top 6 and made podium were Macoy Socha, Kaiser Neverman, Riley Komp, and Connor Howe.  Kaiser Neverman also broke two conference records and was awarded conference swimmer of the year. Good luck to GBU next weekend at sectionals in Neenah.


If you could not attend the team meeting held last Friday, please stop in Room 123 for information relating to sub district. Any members who have not met a coach or attended a meeting will have until Wednesday, February 6th to touch base with Mr. Schuh or Ms. Nellis or risk being dropped from the roster. Any questions, see Mr. Schuh or Ms. Nellis.

Language Arts Academic Team Meeting

The language arts academic team will be meeting after school on Wednesday, February 6th in Room 133.  We will discuss 1984 and work on the essay portion of the competition. Let Mrs. Guerndt know if you cannot make it.  

Local Scholarship Foundations Visit Preble  

On Tuesday, February 5th, two local scholarship foundations Scholarships, Inc. and Greater Green Bay Community Foundation, will be in the LMC to help seniors complete their scholarship applications. Students will listen to a short overview of each foundation and complete the applications. Students bring your laptops as you will be working on the application. Seniors and their families are invited to attend one of two presentations:


Presentation #1 - Periods 7 & 8 in the Preble LMC

Presentation #2 - 5:00-7:00 PM in the Preble LMC

MAC Scholars

MAC Scholars will not meet this week. Get ready for the Talent Show next week!

Preble HOSA

Preble HOSA will be having their next large group meeting on Thursday, February 7th at 6:50 am.  Join us for information on how we are helping raise money for our State Service Project - The American Heart Association.

We will have sign ups for our Valentine day fundraiser, as well as sign ups for helping at the CP Telethon coming up.  

We will also have the paperwork for regionals for our competitors competing at the end of the month.

Spring Play

Spring play auditions for the Spring Comedy, The Odd Couple: The Female Version will be next Monday, February 11th from 3-4:30 pm in Room 123. Students are expected to have a prepared comedic monologue prepared, as well as be prepared to read parts of the script. Perusal scripts are available in the LMC for a 24 hour checkout. Talent Show

If you would like to be in the Talent Show and did not get a chance to try out, please come to Student Services to meet with Ms. Amy or Ms. Evans during your lunch or study hall.

Teachers Period 3

Please send one senior representative to the commons from your class to pick up a handout for each senior in your class.  Counselors will be in the commons to assist. Please know how many seniors are in your class.

Track Meeting

Are you interested in joining the tradition that is Preble Track and Field?  The boys and girls track and field teams will be holding its informational sign-up meeting in the auditorium after school on Wednesday, February 6th.   The meeting will not last more than 20 minutes, but is important for all returners, as well as new participants.

If you cannot make the meeting, see Mr. Marcelle in Room 114 or Mr. Kline in Room 207.
