Blood Drive

Students, next Friday, September 27th, Student Council will be hosting the first blood drive of the year. Please sign up by filling out a Google form, that was sent to your school email. You may also stop by the main office to grab a sign up sheet. Each donor will receive a coupon for a free haircut from Sports Clips. Remember to bring a photo ID on the day of the Blood Drive and if you are 16, to have a parent consent form signed. Parent consent forms can be found in the

main office. If you have any questions, please email Mrs. Enderby.


Girls Golf

Congratulations to the girls golf team for winning the Green Bay Metro Meet held yesterday at Oneida Country Club.  Leading the team were Kaci Duqaine 83, Emma Onesti 87, Lauren Bonetti 92, Greta Brzezinski 94 and Zoe Vander Velde 99.  


Harry Potter/Avengers Club

Attention Harry Potter and Marvel Movie Fans, are you interested in joining a club that discusses the Harry Potter books and movies, discusses who is the Best Avenger, -  Iron Man or Captain America?, solves mysteries like Sherlock Holmes and follows Bilbo Baggins in the Lord of the Rings! If so, come to the school store to sign up for the new Harry Potter/Marvel Club!  


Key Club 

Do you like to help others?  Are you interested in serving your school and community?  Key Club is the oldest and largest service organization for high school students, and luckily we have our very own chapter here at Preble High School.  There will be an informational meeting next Wednesday, September 25 after school in Room 131 to learn about joining Key Club.


PSAT

Juniors, are you looking for a way to practice for the ACT or SAT test? Would you like more feedback on your academic strengths and weaknesses prior to taking your college admission exam?


If so, the PSAT test is for you! It is being offered here at Preble in the small gym on Wednesday, October 16th beginning at 7:30 a.m. For juniors, this test is also a qualifier for the National Merit Scholarship competition. as well as other scholarships. Students can register through Preble’s website by clicking on Students & Parents, Student Services, and then PSAT Online Registration. Registration is open now and spots are limited. The cost of the test is $20.00. Please see Ms. Lor or Mrs. Davis in Student Services for more information.
