Girls Tennis
Preble tennis earned its second conference win on Thursday, defeating Bay Port 5-2. Mai Nou Vang and Mai Lee Vang, Grace Flood, Renae Vanden Plas, Andrea Hernandez and Hannah Van Pay won in doubles. Krysten Capwell and Kaylyn Wiater picked up the singles wins.
Girls Volleyball
The Preble varsity volleyball team defeated Pulaski 25-21, 22-25, 26-24,17-25, 15-12. Amber Van De Hei had 14 kills and 5 blocks. Grace Perret had 14 kills and 10 digs. Maddy Neumann had 32 assists and Ella Bialkowski had 18 digs.
Golden Apple Awards
We are kicking off the 27th annual Golden Apple Awards at schools as part of Partners in Education, a program of the Greater Green Bay Chamber. Each year, the Golden Apple Awards celebrate education excellence. We would like to thank each teacher for his/her service with a small token of our appreciation, which they can find in their mailboxes by the end of the day today. Nomination forms are available in the main office, and online at
www.greatergbc.org/GoldenApples. The Golden Apple Awards will be held on Wednesday, April 15, 2020. Please consider nominating a teacher.

Philosophy Club
Plan to attend Philosophy Club on Monday night right after school. We will be discussing the Philosopher of the Week and take on “Big Questions” from members. Maybe we’ll discover the meaning of life. You’ll never know if you don’t show.
PSAT
This is a reminder to all juniors that are interested in taking the PSAT, registration is only open for two more weeks and spots are filling up quickly. The PSAT is on Wednesday, October 16th in the small gym. If you need instructions on how to register, stop by Student Services to pick up an instruction sheet. Once you have registered to take the test, make sure you pick up your PSAT Student Guide from the Career Center. This guide will help get you prepared for the test.
Student Services
On Tuesday October 1st & 8th, the Preble LMC will be filled with college and Preble support staff to help seniors complete college applications, FAFSA (financial aid application), review upcoming scholarship opportunities and answer any college admissions questions you might have. We’ll take care of attendance at the event. Please plan to stop down during your study hall, lunch or from class with your teacher's permission. You’re welcome to attend multiple periods and days. Please bring your device, and students working on FAFSA will need a personal email and their social security numbers.
