Boys Cross Country
Congratulations to the boys cross country team who were the FRCC conference champions.
Brett Litkey, Joe Engler, and Khalid Mohamed were 1st team all conference. Josh Helgesen was 2nd team all conference. Frank Haanen and Phillip Balch were all conference honorable mention. Great job to the whole boys team this season.
Good luck to all teams as they run at sectionals this Friday at the Woods Golf Course as they try to qualify for the state meet.
Chess Club
Chess Club will have its first meeting of the year this Wednesday in Room B116 from 3:05 to
4:00 pm. All are welcome, regardless of ability, to learn how to play chess and to play against other Preble students.
Class Ring Order Day
Attention all classes, Tuesday, October 22nd is class ring shopping day. Brickhouse School Services will be here during the lunch hours in the cafeteria. There will be ring samples and order information packets available to anyone interested in ordering a Preble class ring. Please remember to place your order.
DECA
The first DECA meeting of the year is tonight at 6:00 PM in the commons. Any student interested in a challenging academic business club is invited to the meeting.
FFA
The Green Bay Preble FFA will be meeting after school on Wednesday, October 23rd. If you are interested in joining FFA or just want to learn more about opportunities in the different FFA Career Development events please stop by.
We will have food and a great competition to learn how you can earn scholarships and work on team opportunities in animal science, wildlife conservation, plant sciences, as well as some great speaking competitions.
Girls Cross Country
Congratulations to the girls cross country team on their 2nd place finish last week at the conference championship meet. Four girls finished with all conference honors. Macey Lane and Lauren Titus were first team all conference. Annabelle Davis and Elise Smith were 2nd team all conference. Great job to all the varsity and JV girls on a successful season.
Math Team
Math team students, our 2nd math meet is tonight, Monday, October 21st at Pulaski. Teams are posted outside Room 237. If your name is not present, please see Mr. Schwedrsky. Please be at Pulaski High School by 6:10 pm. Please give yourself enough time to get there.
One Act
Congratulations to the Preble One Act whose play, Every Brilliant Thing, is advancing to the District level of the Wisconsin High School Theater competition. The team will compete on Tuesday, October 29th and Wednesday, October 30th in Oconto Falls to win a possible chance to perform at the Wisconsin Theater Festival at UW Milwaukee. Good Luck team.

Prebles Pals will be hosting a fundraising event on Thursday, October 24th at iHOP on Oneida St. from 4-8 pm. Giving is simple, come to iHOP between 4-8 pm, order dinner, and tell your waiter that you are there to support Preble Pals.
