Party members, our adventure continues tonight in Room 132 at 3:30 pm.
GBU Boys Swimming
This weekend the GBU boys competed in two meets this weekend. Top finishers in both meets included Macoy Socha, Kaiser Neverman, Mikhail Neverman, Riley Komp, Connor Howe, and Kyler Simonet. Kaiser Neverman also broke the pool record in the 100 fly in Appleton North. Come support us tonight in senior night for our last home meet at Southwest against Bay Port!
Language Arts Academic Team
The Language Arts Academic Team will meet today, after school in Room 129. We will be practicing trivia and working on the essay prompt for Lord of the Flies. See Mrs. Guerndt if you cannot make the meeting.
MAC Scholars
MAC Scholars will meet TODAY after school from 3:00 to 3:45 pm in Room 107.
Math Team
Math Team Students, our 4th math meet is Monday, January 27th at Southwest. All purple confirmation slips are due today, Tuesday, January 21st. Please drop them off in Room 237 or give them to your math teacher.
Spring Play
Auditions for the Spring Play - PUFFS: Seven Eventful Years at a Certain School of Magic will be held on Wednesday, January 29th at 3:10 pm in Room 123. Students need to have a comedic monologue. Perusals are available in the LMC beginning on Thursday, January 16th. Any questions, please see Mr. Schuh.
StingCancer
Tonight, StingCancer and Preble girls basketball team, will be partnering together for “Hoops for Hope”. There will be ribbon cookies, long sleeved t-shirts, and a raffle to help support StingCancer. During halftime there will be a Miracle Minute while Preble’s drumline performs. Come join the fun and cheer on our lady Hornets.
Talent Show
The Talent Show is on Friday February 7th‼
To be in the show you must show us your act at one of the audition times this Wednesday, January 22nd, Monday, January 27th or Wednesday, January 29th from 3:10 to 3:50 pm in the auditorium.
Please come to the auditorium right after school tomorrow, even if you have signed up for a later time. We will go through all acts as quickly as possible.
Please be prepared to give us a 1-2 minute sample of what you will be performing.
ALL appropriate acts will be included in the show – there are no cuts.
Winterfest Week
Welcome to Winterfest Week! It’s great to see all the gray clothing today. If you find a picture of a gray sweatshirt, in the hallway, please make sure to redeem your prize in the main office. Tomorrow’s dress up day is college and employment day and the hall hunt is money. Also, the Winterfest dance is on Saturday and tickets go on sale starting tomorrow, for just $10 and will be sold during lunch hours and after school by the ticket booth outside the auditorium. If you have any questions, please email Mrs. Enderby. Keep up the school spirit and as always, it’s a great day to be a hornet!
