Bowling Team

The bowling team had two huge meets since last Wednesday greatly increasing their chances of making the state tournament!  Winning both meets 5 games to 4 vs DePere and Pulaski. Varsity improved to (7-3) while JV continued their good bowling as well moving to (9-0-1).

Individual highlights: (Fr.) Carter Wescott with 30 strikes and (So.) Kyler Simonet with 24 strikes led the way during the two meets.

Varsity Lineup of Carter Westcott, Kyler Simonet, (Sr.)Madison Adams, (Sr.) Lexi Simonet, & (So.) Alec Reichwald had only 11 opens as a team for an (87.7%) spare/strike percentage vs Pulaski.


Chess Club

Chess Club will meet today after school from 3:05 to 4:00 pm in Room B116.


Green Bay Ice Bears

Ice Bears varsity and junior varsity defeat opponent on senior night: Bay Area Ice Bears moved the puck well Saturday night and was able to come away with a 4-1 win against University School-Milwaukee. Seniors were recognized before the start of the game - Halle Hill, Alyssa Wittman, Kaitlynn Wittman, Aria Van De Hei and Cianna Gemingnani. Goals scored by Madison Anderson (2), Tessa Andrews, and Makayla Spejcher. 


Language Arts Academic Team

The Language Arts Academic Team will meet today after school in Room 129.  We will be practicing trivia and working on the essay prompt for Lord of the Flies.  See Mrs. Guerndt if you can’t make the meeting.  


MAC Scholars

MAC Scholars will be meeting after school today in the auditorium for the Talent Show try-outs.


Mini Medical Field Trip

Any students interested in accompanying the AVID classes to the Mini Medical Field Trip hosted by the Medical College of Wisconsin. Buses leave Thursday at 11:30  and return at 3:30. If you are interested in a medical career check in with Mr. Kranitz in Student Services or Ms. Sylvester in 118.  


Philosophy Club

Mark your calendars to attend the next Philosophy Club meeting on Monday, January 27th. We will discuss Marx and Engels, current perspectives on socialism and social and political reform. Standing members should also be sure to stop in and receive a membership gift subsidized by the Unemployed Phillosopher’s Guild. Show up and follow Einstein’s advice to “never stop questioning.” 


Student Services

A reminder to all students, any semester 2 course change requests must be made to your counselor by the end of the day this Friday, January 24th.  Friday is an early release day and you will have until 12:50 to get any requests in. Feel free to come down to Student Services to meet with your counselor one-on-one or send them an email regarding schedule changes or any other questions.


Winterfest Week

If you find a picture of money in the hallway, please make sure to redeem your prize in the main office. Tomorrow, you can pair up with someone else by dressing like twins or a dynamic duo, and if that doesn’t satisfy you, you can wear a costume! The hall hunt for tomorrow is a twix candy bar. 


Also, Winterfest tickets go on sale today, for just $10. To purchase your ticket, head on over to the ticket booth outside the auditorium either during your lunch hour or after school. This year’s dance theme is Winter in Paradise.  If you want a splash of tropical, purchase your ticket today! If you have any questions, please email Mrs. Enderby.
