Culinary Competition
Yesterday, two Preble Culinary teams competed at the 3rd Annual Recipe for Excellence at UW- Stout. After an intense competition, the team of Toni Cochran and Tristian Butler received an Honorable Mention for their “Hawaiian themed” dinner. The team of Maia Quass and Joey Carroll took 2nd place with their Asian dinner. Please congratulate these students as they proceed to state competition in Milwaukee next month.
Forensics
Forensics students, we are going to have a short, mandatory meeting on Monday, February 17th at 3:10 pm in Room 123 to review the schedule for our subdistrict competition. Please attend.
Math Team
Math team students, our 5th math meet is Monday, February 24 at Green Bay West. All golden confirmation slips are due today, Friday, February 14. Please drop them off in Room 237 or give them to your math teacher.
Preble PalsPreble Pals will be sponsoring a bake sale in the commons today, Valentines Day, during the lunch hours. We will have brownies, cookies, cupcakes, rice krispie treats, and other sweet treats. Buy for yourself or your “sweetie.”
PSAT Score Report Sessions
This is a reminder that any student that took the PSAT in October, informational sessions will be held on Monday, February 17th to go over your PSAT score report and see what your scores mean. The sessions will run during the lunch hours in the student services conference room. Please bring your laptop. If you cannot make a session, you will want to see your counselor to pick up your score report.
Psychology Valentines
It’s Valentine's Day, so make sure to get a special treat for that special someone today. If you haven’t yet, you’re in luck, because the psychology Club is selling psychology-themed valentines and candy during all lunch periods today for only $1.
Teen Leadership Adventure Program
Freshman students, applications for the 2020-2021 Greater Green Bay Teen Leadership Adventure Program are now open. The Teen Leadership Adventure Program is designed to build and strengthen emerging young leaders. All students entering their sophomore year for the 2020-2021 school year are welcome to apply.
If you are interested in learning more, please report to the Preble High School auditorium on Thursday, February 20th during the last 25 minutes of your lunch period or see Mrs. Sabel in Student Services.
