Cross Country at the State Meet
Coach Haller would like to extend a special congratulations to Hailey Novitski for her performance on Saturday at the alternate fall state cross country meet. Hailey finished 11th overall earning her a spot on the board in our fieldhouse with one of the top 10 place finishes of all time by a Preble Cross Country runner. The last girl runner to add to the list was from 1995.
In addition, Hailey posted her season’s best time by over 30 seconds and broke Preble high school’s all time record in the 5000 meter race with a time of 19:19. Thank you for an amazing season!
Thanks to the rest of the girls team who made the trip to Janesville to support Hailey and the boys team.
Congratulations also goes out to the boys on their many season-best races and an impressive 3rd place finish at the state meet! Great job guys!
