Color Guard
The Preble Color Guard is rebuilding our team! Color Guard is the visual component to the award-winning Preble Marching Band that consists of flags, rifles, sabres, and elements of dance. It is a hard working team of musician-athletes that really makes us stand out from other bands. Dance experience is helpful, but not required! There will be an informational meeting, where we will also review and teach fundamental skills, TODAY, Monday, May 24, from 3:15 to 5 in the Band Room (room 197). Wear athletic shoes and clothes you can move in. Face coverings will be worn. Please contact Mrs. Sweeney (mmsweeney@gbaps.org) if you have any questions!

Yearbook
You can buy yearbooks at yearbookforever.com.  Don’t wait until it’s too late!

Have you sent a picture of yourself with the name of your extracurricular group to prebleyearbook@gmail.com?  The subject line should contain your first and last name, and the name of your group.  Example: “Mason Silva StingCancer” or “Lizzie Armanto Musical.”

Attention all students, staff, and administrators: Please help with this yearbook project called “Profiles in COVID.”  Since this has been an unusual year, let’s remember it with some pictures and quotes from all of you.  Please include a picture of yourself, or your workspace you were in at home for most of the year, or both.  Along with your picture(s), please answer the following three questions:

  1. What was the biggest challenge you faced during this past school year?

  2. What positive thing(s) did you experience during your time at home?

  3. What was the most important overall lesson you learned during this time of COVID-19?

So, if you would like to participate in this project, please send a picture or two, as well as your typed answers to the above questions to prebleyearbook@gmail.com.  Please put your name and the word “profile” in the subject line.  Example: “Nora Vasconcellos Profile”
