Esports: Greetings Preble gamers, thanks for the great turnout last week! In regards to our next session, the format will be a little different. Unlike our previous meetings, we will not be offering free play at our next meeting and will instead be focusing on competitive gaming, platforms, and funding. Players of all skill levels are welcome, whether you hold rankings or it is your first time participating in competitive gaming! We will be here to help you train and improve going forward. All who attend this week and are interested in joining a competitive team will need to complete the guardian permission form. We need all serious and committed gamers who would like to join a team to attend. If you are interested, but you have a conflict in schedule due to another club or sport, and cannot attend this meeting, please contact Mr. Konwinski ([email protected]) or one of our Preble E-Sports social media accounts. Our classroom code is ts5ybqw, where we will be posting updates. See you tonight!

Math Lab: Attention Math Students Math Lab, Room 243, is open every day, every hour, except Periods 3 and 6. Periods 3 and 6, Math Lab is only open Monday, Wednesday and every other Friday.

Students should report directly to Math Lab by the bell, not going to study hall first.  Students not arriving by bell will be sent back to study hall.

Study hall teachers should not write pink passes to students to go to Math Lab

Senior T-Shirts: If you ordered a senior t-shirt and have not picked it up, please stop in the Main Office during lunch or after school.

Softball Players: The Hornets softball team will have an “Open Gym” tomorrow, Friday,  3:15 to 4:30 PM in the Auxiliary Gym. Please join us if you might be interested in playing softball this Spring

StingCancer: StingCancer and the Preble Girls Basketball team are partnering together for Hoops for Hope on February 1st. Come cheer on the girls and support StingCancer! Your generous donations at this event will help those dealing with the  effects of cancer.

Track and Field: The weather may be cold, but spring sports are just around the corner. Track and field will be holding its preseason meeting on February 9th after school in the auditorium.

If you are considering track and field this spring, please complete this Google Form:  https://forms.gle/T2jRwpYwGrYdmpxy5.  This is not a commitment to the team, but it will get you included in preseason communication.

Track and field is the perfect compliment to any other fall and winter sport.  The historic success of the boys and girls track and field program is due to large participation numbers.  Please consider joining and remember that there is an event for everyone in track and field. Additionally, please remember the following opportunities:

Running club meets every Monday, Wednesday and Friday after school in the Gym Lobby.

Speed workouts occur every Tuesday and Friday after school in the large gym.

Weightroom is open every day after school

Winterfest Week - It’s Winterfest Week! Thank you to those of you that dressed up today! Tomorrow’s dress-up day is Flannel/Formal Day, so wear a flannel or wear what you would have worn to the Winterfest Dance. The hall hunt for tomorrow will be two different pictures; either a dress or a suit. If you happen to see a picture of a dress or suit hanging in the hallway, pick it up, and take it to the Main Office to redeem your prize. Hope to see your Preble Pride tomorrow as we finish out the week!

Don’t forget to decorate your door, wall, or pillar during Advisory! Judging will take place in the middle of next week.
