Today’s Fun Fact: A hive of bees must fly 55,000 miles to produce a pound of honey. One bee colony can produce 60 to 100 pounds of honey per year. An average worker bee makes only about 1/12 teaspoon of honey in its lifetime.

You will need a parent consent form signed if you are 16 and the forms can be found in the Main Office. Once the form is signed, turn it into the Main Office. Book Club: The LMC would like to officially announce our February title, Dear Martin by Nic Stone. It is the story of Justyce McCallister. Who is at the top of his class and set for the Ivy League—but none of that matters to the police officer who just put him in handcuffs. And despite leaving his rough neighborhood behind, he can't escape the scorn of his former peers or the ridicule of his new classmates. Then comes the day Justyce goes driving with his best friend, Manny, windows rolled down, music turned up—way up, sparking the fury of an off-duty cop beside them. Words fly. Shots are fired. Justyce and Manny are caught in the crosshairs. In the media fallout, it's Justyce who is under attack.

Winterfest Week: We are wrapping up Winterfest Week! Thank you to those of you that participated this week! The hall hunt for today will be two different pictures; either a dress or a suit. If you happen to see a picture of a dress or suit hanging in the hallway, pick it up, and take it to the Main Office to redeem your prize.

Don’t forget to decorate your door, wall, or pillar during Advisory! Judging will take place in the middle of next week.

Today is Friday and you know what that means, get up out of your chair and join us in singing/dancing our School Song
