Today’s Fun Fact: How long does it take for an average person to fall asleep? This usually lasts for 5-10 minutes. Research has shown that the average sleeper takes about 7 minutes to fall asleep. You may fall asleep sooner, or take longer. The second stage of sleep lasts about 20 minutes.

Anime Club: Anime club will meet tonight at 3:15 in room 132 to judge the art competition. 


Girls Soccer: Open Gym tonight from 7:30-9pm!


GSA: GSA (Gender & Sexuality Alliance) will meet this Wednesday, March 2nd in 185. Everyone is welcome. Class code: rvempyf 


Psych Club: The next Psych Club meeting will be on Wednesday, March 2, from 7:00 - 7:25 AM in Room 105.


SkillsUSA: We will have a brief meeting on Tuesday, March 1st after school in the Metals shop to finalize details for the State Competition in Madison coming up in April.  If you have any questions please let Mr.Berndt know.


StingCancer: StingCancer will not be meeting this Thursday due to Parent Teacher Conferences. The club will meet in two weeks. See you then!


Track and Field: While the track and field season begins next week Monday, there is still plenty of time to join.


Preble track and field welcomes athletes with a variety of goals from those seeking a fun, team environment, to those seeking to improve their fitness for other sports, or those who have goals of competing at the highest level.  


Track and field also offers an event for all different types of athletes from short sprints, to jumping, hurdling, throwing, distance, or even pole vaulting.


If you are still interested in joining track and field, please reach out to Mr. Marcelle ([email protected]) Mr. Pierquet, Mr. Boockmeier, Mr. Kline, Mrs. Herzog, Mrs. Capelle, or Mr. Peotter throughout the school


Yearbook: All staff and students: This Wednesday, March 2nd, is yearbook photo day! What does that mean?  Each extra-curricular group will have their picture taken in the auditorium to be included in the yearbook.  Each group and the time of their picture will be announced at the beginning of each class period, and the schedule will be posted around the school in various locations.  Please check to see when your group is scheduled!  The final schedule will be posted on Tuesday morning.

Youth Apprenticeship: Thank you to all the 10th and 11th graders that attended the Youth Apprenticeship presentation last week. If you filled out the interest form that was sent to your student email yesterday, Jen Johnson and her youth apprenticeship team will be in contact with you within the next couple of weeks. If you are still interested in the youth apprenticeship but did not fill out the form please take the time to fill it out today. Once you fill out the form Jen Johnson and her team will be in contact with you as well.
