Today’s Fun Fact: Squirrels are behind a lot of power outages in the U.S.

Anime Club: Anime Club will meet tomorrow at 3:15 in room 132. Mr. Hinkel will be working on the play, so the meeting will be run by next year’s execs.

Blood Drive: Did you know that blood cannot be manufactured? That’s right, it has to come from generous donors like you! Student Council will be hosting its last blood drive on Thursday, May 5. If you are 16 or older and would like to donate please fill out this Google form. Important information is listed on the Google form, so be sure to take some time to read it. Also, you must fill out a parent consent form if you are 16 years old. These forms can be found in the Main Office. Each donor will also receive a $10 gift card to the place of your choice (10 options of restaurants and other places will be provided). Just be sure to give your email address to receive the gift card. If you have any questions, send Mrs. Enderby ([email protected]) an email.

FFA Meeting: Come join us for the FFA Meeting on Wednesday, April 18 at 3:05pm in room 187.  Topics include: FFA T-shirt order, FFA Plant Sale, Teddy Bear Toss...etc. We look forward to seeing you there. Contact Mr. Vader with questions [email protected]

All three of our Preble FFA Career Development Event Teams qualified for the live event at state! The live state event at the University of Wisconsin - Madison will be on Friday, 29 April.

Girls Soccer and Key Club: Preble Girls Soccer and Preble Key Club are joining forces to collect items needed to support Foster the Village. Foster the Village is a local organization that supports families who take in foster children in our community. They help to provide these children with a safe and comfortable environment in the midst of dramatic changes in their lives. 

 

Spring Play: Any student interested in being in the ensemble for the spring play, Romeo and Juliet, please come to the auditorium tonight after school. These are non speaking, limited time responsibility roles. We are looking for 8-10 students. Any questions, please see Mr. Schuh

We are excited to announce that the Preble Players return to live performances with our Spring Play - Romeo and Juliet. Set in New York in the 1970’s, this Shakespearean classic follows the tragic love of Romeo and Juliet set in the gang wars of New York. Performances are Friday and Saturday, April 29 and 30 at 7:00. Tickets are $5.00 for GBPSD staff and students. 

Sting Cancer Announcement: Just a reminder that the last day to submit your application to become a 2022-2023 Sting Cancer Student Advisor is this Friday, April 22nd. Interviews will be the following week. We would love to have you on our Advisory team, so apply today!

Student Services Announcement: All services learning hours are due in the Career Center by April 29th, so we can order your awards and service cord. There will not be an EXCEPTION if your hours are not turned in by the due date. All hours that are turned in after the due date will go into your cumulative  hours only.
