Anyone interested in joining the Preble Anti- Bullying Student Support Club, should please attend an important meeting after school today in the LMC.

Asian Club

Do you want to share your Asian culture or learn more about the Asian cultures?  Then come join us in Asian Club. We’ll teach you how to make eggrolls, play fun games, volunteer and learn more about the many asian cultures there are in the world. Asian Club welcomes everyone so come and  joins us Thursday, September 15th in  Room 125 afterschool until 4:00.

Blood Drive
Did you know that Blood cannot be manufactured – it can only come from generous donors?
So be the person to make a difference by donating blood to someone in need on Monday,        September 19th! To sign up, you can talk to a Student Council member or find a sign-up sheet and details in the main office.  Also, students who are 16 must have a parent consent form signed and is to bring it the day of the blood drive. Students must also bring two forms of ID that show their age, which could include their Driver’s License, Donor card or Infinite Campus summary report.. If you have any questions, please email Mrs. Enderby.

Buzz Staff

Buzz staff, we will have our first meeting after school on Tuesday, September 13th in Room 132.  Any new members should also attend.  We will be choosing our articles for the October issue.

DECA

DECA is coming !  Stop by the school store for an information packet.





FFA

What do Red Roses, the Wisconsin Timber Wolf and Dairy Goats all have in common?  This unique combination make up a few of the many great Career Development Events on the local, state and national level in the Green Bay Preble FFA.   Want to hear more?  This year’s Green Bay Preble FFA Officer team is inviting you to attend an information meeting this Thursday, September 15th  from 3:10 until 4 pm in Room 187.

There will be food, fun and great people to team up with to make this our best year yet. See you Thursday…...and remember FFA is a lot more than you think.

Girls Golf

Yesterday, the girls golf team competed in the Sheboygan North Invite. The team finished 4th out of 21 teams and was led by Katie Warpinski who shot 87 and tied for 2nd place.  Also, contributing were Jordan Hedsend, Lauren Bonetti, Rachael Revolinski and Emilie Petersen. 

Girls Tennis

The girls varsity tennis team lost a close conference match to Manitowoc, 4-3.  The lone singles point for the Lady Hornets came from Krysten Capwell at  #4 singles.  Doubles teams that earned points were #2 doubles Mai (pronounced MY) Vang/Annissa Derbique (pronounced Derbeck) and #3 doubles Kristan Molling/Chami Michaud.  The team then traveled to Milwaukee over the weekend and defeated Manitowoc Roncalli 4-3 and lost to Beaver Dam 6-1.  Earning the lone win against Beaver Dam was Kaitlyn Perret at #2 singles.

Key Club 

Attention all students,  do you like to help others?  Are you interested in serving your school and community?  Do you want to be part of the coolest club at Preble High School?  If you answered yes to any of these questions, then come a meeting tomorrow to learn about joining Key Club.

Key Club is the oldest and largest service organization for high school students.  And luckily we have our very own chapter here at Preble High School.  There were will be two informational meetings held on Wednesday:  The first is before school at 7:00 am in Room 131.  Or, if you can’t make it before school, then there were will another meeting after school at 3:00 in Room 131.  You only have to attend once.  We hope to see you there!  



MAC Scholars & College Bound

MAC Scholars and College Bound will meet tomorrow, after school in Room 107.  Please come by for fun and information on college and careers!  All are welcome to join us!

Math Team

Math students, did you know that half of 18 is 10?  Or, that you can take 1 from 29 and have 30 left?  Then Math Team is for you!  There will be an informational meeting today after school in Room 237 at 3:10 pm.  If you are unable to attend, stop by sometime this week and see Mr. Schwedrsky in Room 237.  Have a MATHtastic Day!

Political Awareness Club

Interested in politics and no one to talk to? Well, Preble has the perfect club for you! Come meet politically-minded people like you at the Political Awareness Club meeting on Wednesday, September 13th  from 3:15 to 3:45 in Room 114. See you there!


Student Council Elections
 
Attention all students, each of you were emailed a ballot to complete for the Student Council elections and Homecoming Court nominations. If you are interested in filling out the ballot, please do so by midnight tomorrow, Wednesday, September 14th. 

Teens for Change 

Teens for Change will be holding our first meeting of the year on Wednesday after school in  Room 125. If you want to be part of where we go and what we do this year, come in and let your voice be heard. 

Winter Sports Parent/Athlete Meeting 

The winter sports parent/athlete meeting will be on Tuesday, October 18th at 6:30 PM.  As in the past, we will start with everyone meeting in the Auditorium for the paperwork, etc.  We will then split up into individual sport meetings for you to provide all specific information regarding your upcoming season.
