Fox Communities Credit Union

Welcome Back Preble High students!  During your 3rd hour class today you should receive a Kick Off card.  Bring your Kick Off card  to your in-school credit union, located in the commons to see if you are an instant $5 cash winner!  Your ticket will also be entered into a drawing for either a $50 school apparel prize package or a 32 inch Samsung Smart TV!  You have until Wednesday, September 28th to turn in your Kick Off cards.

Political Awareness Club

Interested in politics and no one to talk to? Well, Preble has the perfect club for you! Come meet politically-minded people like you at the Political Awareness Club meeting today from 3:15 to 3:45 in Room 114. See you there!

Juniors, are you looking for a way to practice for the ACT or SAT test?   Would you like more feedback on your academic strengths and weaknesses prior to taking your college admission exam?  
If so, the PSAT test is for you!  It is being offered here at Preble on Wednesday, October 19th beginning at 7:30 a.m.  For juniors, this test is also the qualifier for the National Merit Scholarship competition.  Students can register through Total Registration through Preble’s website beginning on Monday, September, 19th. Don’t miss out – register early!  The cost of the test is $17.00.  Please see                    Mrs. Davis in Student Services if you have any questions.

Skills USA

Are you interested in hands on minds on applications?  Would you like to connect with people that share your same interests?   The Green Bay Preble Skills USA is a group that offers fun, social activities and competitions.

The first Skills USA meeting of the year is this Thursday, September 15th from 3:00 until 3:30 p.m.  We will be meeting in Room 151 computer lab.  If you or any of your friends are interested, please stop by.  You will find that Skills USA offers a lot more than you think.  If you can’t attend, please stop by and see Mr.Berndt or Mr.Zeitler or contact a tech ed teacher and they will get you any information that you might have missed.

Student Council Election and Homecoming Ballot

This is a reminder to all students, if you haven’t already voted, you have until midnight tonight to vote for Student Council class officers and to nominate students for Homecoming Court. Please email                  Mrs. Enderby if you have any questions. 

Teens for Change

Don’t forget the Teens for Change meeting today after school in Room 125. The activities start this week so bring your friends.

Seniors Parchment

Seniors, today an email was sent to your student gbaps email account.  This email is information on how to set up your parchment account.  Parchment is the online service we use to request your transcripts be sent to colleges.  Please log into your account, look for the email regarding parchment and finish setting up your account.  Once your account is setup, you can go to the order tab and order your transcript.  If you have any questions, please see Mrs. Petitjean in Student Services.

Sting Cancer

Have you ever wanted to come together with friends, have fun, and help support a worthy cause?  If so, then STINGCANCER is the right club for you.  STINGCANCER is having a meeting on Thursday, September 15th in the Auditorium after school for anyone interested in becoming a member.  We will talk about upcoming events, member responsibilities, and the code of conduct.  Spread the word and bring some friends, because together we will STINGCANCER.
