Billingual College Fair
Students and families, join us for a free meal and college information.  On Tuesday, October 18th from:3:00-7:00pm Preble Pride will be hosting it’s 4th annual Bilingual College Fair! Nearly 20 Wisconsin colleges will be present and ready to answer your questions. There will be a prize give-away for students who participate. See you there!

Boys Swimming Parent/Athlete Meeting 
The boys swimming parent/athlete meeting will be on Tuesday, October 18th at 6:30 PM.  The meeting will take place at Southwest High School in the Auditorium.

Football
Congratulations to the varsity football team for their 28-21 win over Pulaski on Friday. With the win, the football team earned a playoff spot for the 6th straight year. The first playoff game in this Friday at Stevens Point at 7 pm. Go Hornets!


GSA
GSA will be meeting today after school in the LMC. We will be finalizing our plans for Ally Week. Everyone is welcome.

Math Team
Math team students, our 1st math meet is tonight, Monday, October 17th at Green Bay East.
Teams are posted outside Room 237.  If your name is not listed, stop by Room 237 some time today. 
Check in with Mr. Schwedrsky by 6:10 pm.


PSAT - Test Day Reminder 
Those who registered to take the PSAT test on Wednesday, October 19th, should not report to their first hour class.  All students should report directly to the small gymnasium for testing. Late students who arrive after testing has begun will not be admitted.  The test will last periods 1-3 and may extend into the beginning of period 4.  Attendance will be taken in your testing room.  Please be sure to bring your student ID, two No. 2 pencils, and an approved scientific or graphing calculator.  Electronic devices, food, and beverages are prohibited, so please leave your book bags and backpacks in your locker.  Further questions can be directed to Mrs. Davis in Student Services. 

Operation Snowball
There is still time to register for the Fall Operation Snowball event!  Operation Snowball is  weekend retreat that brings together a mix of teens from around the area to develop new friendships and show that none of us are truly alone.  We have a lot of fun while also covering some serious topics too, including anti-bullying, diversity, and substance abuse prevention. Join us to meet a lot meet a lot of great people, And make some really great long lasting friendships. 

It's really  a great weekend and you feel like a new person when you leave. Operation Snowball is (next weekend or this coming weekend)October 21-23 and is located at Aldo Leopold School.

Please feel free to pick up an application in the main office (or other location), we are able to accept late entries and scholarships are available for people unable to pay - or register online at greenbaysnowball.org.

School Song
Any students interested in singing the school song on Fridays as part of our weekly tradition is asked to stop by the main office, fill out a slip and submit it to be chosen as the next “Preble School Song Singers”.  Don’t be shy, get some friends together and be part of this cool tradition.  All you have to do is stop by the main office and submit your names.
