Boys Tennis
There will be a short meeting after school for boys who want to play on Preble’s boys tennis team this coming spring.  This meeting will be held in Room 245 after school on Wednesday, October 19th and will be done at 3:45 PM.  Come and meet the team and yes there will be cookies.

College Fair
Students and families, join us for a free meal and college information! Tonight from 3:30-7:00pm Preble Pride will be hosting it’s 4th annual Bilingual College Fair.  Nearly 20 Wisconsin colleges will be present and ready to answer your questions. There will be a prize give-away for students who participate. See you there!

Girls Basketball
There will be a girls basketball sign up on Thursday, October 27th at 3:15 PM.  The meeting will take place in one of the classrooms across from the weight room.  During this time, we will have the girls sign up and we will be explaining the tryout procedure.  Parents/guardians are welcome to attend.               Coach Streck will also be sending out the information electronically.  

Green Bay Preble Football Fan Bus
 Playoffs. Be part of the team. Join us as we travel to Stevens Point this Friday. A great way to show support and feel like a winner. Preble High School – Where Champions Are Made! Cost is $5 dollars – which does not include the game day ticket. Bus leaves at 4:30 PM and returns approximately at 11:45 PM.  Space is limited to the first 50 – so sign up NOW! For details and signup – see Mrs. Marsh in the main office. All tickets must be paid for before noon on Friday.

MAC Scholars & College Bound
MAC Scholars and College Bound will meet tomorrow after school in Room 107.  Please come by for fun and information on college and careers!  All are welcome to join us!

We will be having our next HOSA meeting Thursday October 20th. 

HOSA stands for Health Occupations Students of America and it is a group for Future Health Professionals.  If you're thinking of going into the Medical field this is the group for you! 
If you missed the first meeting there is still time to join. We will be having two meeting time, so you can come after school, or at 6:00 that night in room 137!  If you have any questions feel free to contact  Mrs. Pokel. 

Key Club
Key Club members, please check your school email for important information.  There are details about this Saturday’s Haunted Trail event, an inter-school dance coming up, and your $15 dues.  And if you are not yet a Key Clubber, you can still join at any time!  See Mrs. Kreuser with any questions.

MAC Scholars and College Bound meet tomorrow after school in Room 107.  Please come by for fun and information on college and careers!  All are welcome to join us!
Math Team
Congratulations to the Preble Math Team for finishing third last night at the Green Bay East math meet.

Music Department
A reminder to all music department students, Hansen’s Fundraiser products will be delivered today, and MUST be picked up in Room 189 (The choir room) after school between 3-4 PM.  Please make arrangements for items to be picked up by a parent or another student if you cannot do it yourself. Thank you! 

Final reminder – any student registered to take the PSAT will report to the small gymnasium tomorrow morning. Testing will begin promptly at 7:30 a.m. so make sure you are on time. Please have your student I.D., two No. 2 pencils and a calculator. Leave all personal belongings, including your cell phone, in your locker. 

PFL Test-Out
The Personal Financial Literacy Test-Out is scheduled for Tuesday, November 15th and Thursday, November 17th after school.  To sign up for the test, please see Ms. Marsh in bookkeeping located in the main office area.  You will need to bring your student ID and the $5.00 examination fee when you sign up.  You can sign up during lunch hours and after school until 3:15 pm.  Deadline for sign-up runs through Tuesday, November 1st.

Political Awareness Club
Political Awareness Club will be meeting TOMORROW from 3:15 to 3:45 in Room 114 to talk about political correctness and safe spaces on campuses. See you there!
Preble Pals
Preble Pals will be hosting their 2nd meeting in Room 163 on Wednesday, October 17th at 3:05. We will be discussing our October event. 

School Song
Any students interested in singing the school song on Fridays as part of our weekly tradition is asked to stop by the main office, fill out a slip and submit it to be chosen as the next “Preble School Song Singers”.  Don’t be shy, get some friends together and be part of this cool tradition.  All you have to do is stop by the main office and submit your names.

StingCancer will be meeting on Thursday, October 20th in the LMC at 3:10.  We will be making Halloween treat bags to give to the children’s department at St.Vincent and Aurora BayCare.  Just a reminder, that you need to have your code of conduct sheets filled out and handed in.  Join us as we fight to STING CANCER!
