 Why Choose Preble?

  • The vision statement at Preble High School is, "All In for Every Student, Every Day." We embrace our rich diversity and believe that all learners are lifelong learners. We are committed to the four pillars of Preble Pride which include: Respect, Responsibility, Dedication and Community.
  • We offer challenging classes, activities and experiences for our students that prepare them for life after high school.
  • We offer a Certified Nursing Assistant Program for students interested in a career in the healthcare industry.
  • Preble has an award-winning culinary arts program, where students work in a commercial grade kitchen under the direction of a certified teacher.
  • We offer a wide variety of engineering courses and a robust Career and Technical Education pathway. Many of these academic pathways culminate in our students earning industry certifications.
  • We offer more than 20 opportunities for athletics, and more than 60 options for activities. These activities range from academics, community/school service, leadership, theater, and special interests. At Preble, there is something for everyone! The Home of the Hornets is a place where "learning never ends and champions are made."

 Awards

  • In 2016, the Preble boys soccer team earned the WIAA sectional soccer championship title. They were also selected by the Lee Remmel Sports Award committee as the 2016 recipient of the Prep Achievement Award.

Parent Testimonials

  • “We are so glad that we choose Preble for our children. Preble has a wide variety of educational opportunities that challenge our kids to the best of their abilities. Even though it is a large school it never feels like it, we know our children’s teachers and see them often at school events. We love being a part of the Preble community!”
  • “Preble allowed our children the chance to try out different classes and find the direction they might choose to go in their future whether college, technical school or going directly to work. They developed lifelong friendships, were participants in state champion sports teams, found areas of interest for their future, saw the value of teamwork but also the need for individual excellence and they learned the importance of hard work, communication and friendship. They learned from educators, other students, and coaches who challenged them to be stronger and better not just academically but personally. Because of the mentoring from coaches and teachers our children were comfortable trying new experiences and competing at a higher level after high school – they took on risks they might not otherwise have attempted.”
