Be Good Neighbors
Students, we need your help.  Our neighbors near and far from Preble are reporting that cups, garbage and other items are being thrown in their yard.  We ask that you be good neighbors and discard your trash in the appropriate receptacles and practice Preble Pride by being respectful and responsible community members.  Together we can show our Preble Pride to our neighbors.  Thank you.

Boys Golf
All boys interested in playing golf this spring, there is an informational sign up meeting on Wednesday, November 2nd after school in Room 145.  Please see Coach Johnson for more information. 

Boys Soccer
Soccer fans, come out to Southwest High School tonight at 6:30 to help support the boys in their sectional game tonight.

College Application Day
On Thursday, November 3rd, NWTC, UWGB and St. Norbert will have representatives, along with our counselors, available all day in Room 124 & 158. Students can take the Accuplacer in Room 158. Students can fill out applications, receive help on essays, and information on FAFSA in Room 124.

GBU Girls Swimming Conference
GBU Girls Swimming Conference Meet is on Saturday, October 29th, at Bay Port starting at noon.  Good luck to the GBU athletes!  Swim fast!!

Girls Basketball
There will be a girls basketball sign up meeting today at 3:15 PM.  The meeting will take place in one of the classrooms across from the weight room.  During this time, we will have the girls sign up and we will be explaining the tryout procedure.  Parents/guardians are welcome to attend.  Coach Streck will also be sending out the information electronically.  

Key Club
Key Clubbers, today is the last day to turn in dues.  The cost is $15 and needs to be paid to           Mrs. Kreuser in Room 131 by the end of the day.  If not, the cost will increase next week. 

Preble students, all Preble students are invited to attend the Halloween dance tonight at Riverside Ballroom. The cost is $10 at the door, or $8 when a canned food is brought. The dance starts at 7:00 PM and all students are welcome. The theme is neon so remember to wear bright colored clothing.

Language Arts Academic Team Informational Meeting
Do you like reading classic literature?  Do you enjoy learning trivia about a variety of famous authors and their works?  Are you willing to read, discuss, and analyze literature from various authors?  If you answered yes to any of these questions, than the language arts academic team is for you! Come to the first informational meeting at 7:10 am on Tuesday, November 1st in Room 133.  Email Mrs. Guerndt if you can’t make the informational meeting.

MAC Scholars & College Bound
MAC Scholars & College Bound will meet today after school from 3:00 to 4:00 pm in Room 107.  We will be listening to an enthralling speaker from UWGB with the Asian Club.  All are welcome!

PFL Test-Out
The Personal Financial Literacy Test-Out is scheduled for Tuesday, November 15th and Thursday, November 17th after school.  To sign up for the test please see Ms. Marsh in bookkeeping located in the Main Office area.  You will need to bring your student ID and the $5.00 examination fee when you sign up.  You can sign up during lunch hours and after school until 3:15 pm.  Deadline for sign-up runs through Tuesday, November 1st.

SOS Informational Meeting
If you enjoy writing creatively and would like a chance to share some of your poems, lyrics, short stories or creative ideas to others with your same interests, stop by Room 129 today after school. Reach Mr. Henry or ask a friend for more details. See you then!

Stock the Box for Hunger
Students and Staff - don’t forget to help us Stock the Box for Hunger by bringing in canned food items to the LMC, the band room, or the Auditorium Ticket Booth, today and all of next week! Your help is truly appreciated by the Feeding America program and the many people it will serve this fall and holiday season.
