The Anti-Bullying Student Support group meeting that was scheduled for tonight, January 24th, has been rescheduled to Tuesday, January 31st on account of the adjusted final exam schedule. The meeting on the 31st will be the semester kick off pizza party. All members are encouraged to attend!

Bay Area Ice Bears Hosting Teacher Appreciation Night
This Friday night, the Ice Bear girl's hockey team is hosting Waupaca at 5:30 pm at Cornerstone Ice Arena.  All school staff and a guest are invited to attend free of charge with your school ID.  Find your favorite Ice Bear in the hallway and let her know you will be there! As an extra Friday bonus, all students also get in free!  

Chess Club
Chess club will meet today from 3:05 to 4:00 in Room B116. 

Forensics Try-Outs
Students interested in being on the 2017 forensics team must sign up to do an informal reading this week.  The calendar is outside Ms. Suda’s room--which is Room 119.  Please stop by and select a time slot.  If you have questions about forensics, see Mr. Henry or Ms. Suda.

Key Club
Key Clubbers, our monthly meeting is tomorrow.  Please plan to attend either the 7:00 am meeting or the one after school.  Both will be held in Room 131.  

Language Arts Academic Team Meeting
The language arts academic team will be meeting Thursday, January 26th in Room 133 during 5th hour.  Grab your lunch and be in the room by 11:30.  We will be practicing trivia for our upcoming competition.  It’s not too late to join! 

MAC Scholars and College Bound
MAC Scholars and College Bound will meet tomorrow after school in the Auditorium for the Talent Show Try-outs.  

Preble Mid Distance and Distance Runners

There will be informational meetings for all boys and girls who are interested in running the mid distance and distance events ONLY (400 meters and up) for the upcoming track and field season.  For the boys, the meeting will be on Wednesday, January 25th at 3:15 in Room 264 and for the girls on Thursday, January 26th at the same place and time.  All of the information provided will be important in order to help each individual plan and prepare for the 2017 track and field season.  If you have any questions, please see Coach Loritz or Coach McMahon around the PE area.

Student Council Meeting
Student Council members, there will be a meeting tomorrow morning at 6:30 in Room 256. Check your email for details.

Talent Show
The Talent Show is on Friday, February 10th‼
Your only chances to audition are after school today, tomorrow, Thursday or next Monday starting at 3:10 pm in the Auditorium.
Please come to the auditorium right after school, even if you have signed up for a later time, or have not signed up yet at all. We will go through all acts as quickly as possible.
Bands do not need to bring their instruments. We just need your lyrics so we can make sure they are appropriate.
All other acts, please be prepared to give us a 1-2 minute sample of what you will be performing.
ALL appropriate acts will be included in the show – there are NO CUTS.

Winter Week/Snowball Dance
Thank you to the students that have dressed up today, hope you're not feeling too “sleepy”! Today the hall hunt is a sleeping mask and tomorrow will be a snowflake. Remember to take the pictures to the main office to redeem your prize. Tomorrow is whiteout Wednesday, so just like it sounds, wear all white clothing! 

If you are looking for something fun to do this weekend, the Snowball dance is this Saturday, January 28th and tickets are just $10. Tickets are on sale all week during the lunch hours and after school in the main office. If you have any questions, see a Student Council member or email Mrs. Enderby.
