ABSS 
Preble ABSS, the anti-bullying student support club, is meeting after school in the LMC on Tuesday, February 7th.  New Members Welcome!

Test Tip: If you regularly use a calculator in your mathematics work, use one you're familiar with when you take the mathematics test. Using a more powerful, but unfamiliar, calculator is not likely to give you an advantage over using the kind you normally use.

Blood Drive
Are you somebody’s type? Find out when you donate at tomorrow’s blood drive. Sign up today if you would like to receive an appointment. Sign up slips and details can be found in the main office. If you donate tomorrow, you will receive a Culver’s coupon for a free pint of ice cream and a $5 Amazon gift card will be sent to your email. Remember to bring your parent consent form tomorrow, if you are 16. All students must also bring two forms of ID that show their age. Students that already signed up for the blood drive should receive their appointment slip today during 3rd hour.  If you did not receive your appointment slip or have any questions, please email Mrs. Enderby.

Boys Tennis
There will be a meeting for all boys interested in playing tennis this spring in Room 245 after school until 3:45 on Tuesday, February 7th.  Tennis players come and meet the tennis team and coaches, see the schedule, and review paperwork.  

Cap and Gown Make Up Order Day
Cap and gown make-up order day is Tuesday, February 7th.  Brickhouse School Services will be set up outside the commons during the lunch hours to collect your money for your cap and gown.  This is your last chance to pre-order, so please remember to bring your money to school.

Chai Lattes
For the next two weeks, Preble Choirs will be selling Chai Lattes before school and during the lunch hours. A 16 oz  Grande size sells for $5 at Starbucks, but you can get the same drink here for only $3.50. Look for the table in the commons before school or during lunch hours. Get them while they last!

FBLA RLC Results 
Congrats to the 26 Preble FBLA members who competed at FBLA regionals this past Saturday.  24 members placed in the Top 8 of their event.  The following students placed in the Top 3 of their event and qualified for the state competition:  Karley Renard, Kady Cheng, Lauren Bonetti, Sam Majeski, Brooke Wiegert, Brandl Bonetti, Jacob Marchi, Abbie Brienen, Megan Metzler, Jackson Massey, Cassandra Nooyen, and Alyssa VandenHeuvel.

GBU Swim Team
On Saturday the GBU boys swim team did a great job at the FRCC conference meet! Although they didn't win the meet, they broke 5 conference records and achieved many personal best times! Placing first all conference were John Gahnz, Ben Georgia, Kaen Baxter, Kaiser Neverman, and Riley Komp.  John Gahnz broke the conference record in the 100 back and the 200 IM.  Kaiser Neverman broke the conference 100 Fly record.  The team of John Gahnz, Ben Georgia, Kaiser Neverman, and Kaen Baxter broke the 200 Medley Relay record and Kaen Baxter, John Gahnz, Riley Komp, and Kaiser Neverman broke the 400 Free Relay Record! Also placing in the meet were Connor Howe, Macoy Socha, Will Adams, and  Dorjan Enick!!  Great job guys and can't wait to see what you do at Sectionals next Saturday in Neenah!

HOSA
HOSA students planning on competing at state who haven’t picked up the paperwork for competing, please stop by and see Mrs. Pokel to pick up the forms that are due this Thursday, February 9th.  It is important that all members who signed up to compete have their forms in by Thursday, February 9th. in order to compete at state.


Link Crew
There is a whole-group Link Crew meeting Wednesday, February 8th after school in the LMC. All Link Crew Leaders are encouraged to attend so that they can get information regarding upcoming events!

Penny War
Would you like to contribute to the cure of cancer? If so, then donate any spare change or dollar bills, you have, to the research done by the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. Student Council will be collecting money, during the lunch hours, all week. Be the one to make a difference!

Show Choir 
Congratulations to our show choirs on their very successful weekend at New London. Rendezvous finished first in the prep division.  Both Rendezvous and Center Stage qualified for finals.  Rendezvous was third runner up and Center Stage finished as Second Runner up. Congratulations to all our musicians and directors.

Special ACT Test Information 
A special drawing will be held on Tuesday, February 28th.  Snacks will be provided during the tests on Tuesday, February 28th and Wednesday, March 1st.

Spring Play
Thanks to all the students who auditioned for the spring play.  Quick reminder to the cast of the spring play that we will have a brief cast meeting after school to go over schedules and paperwork: if you can not make it, please see Mr. Schuh as soon as possible.  We are still looking for three female minor roles in the play.  If you are interested, please see or email Mr. Schuh.
