Preble ABSS, the Anti-Bullying Student Support Club, will be meeting after school today in the LMC.

Congratulations to the following FCCLA Star Event Competitors: Emma Nowak, Erika Nowak, Taylor Gonzales, Nashali Gonzalez DeJesus, Emilie Feest and Natalie Komp. All 6 of these Preble students have qualified to compete at State in April. Thank you for your hard work and dedication. There will be a meeting for all FCCLA members tomorrow, Wednesday, February 22nd, after school in Room 137. We will discuss plans for State. Please see Ms. Blaney if you cannot make the meeting as important information will be shared. 

There is a mandatory code meeting for all forensics members today right after school in Room 119.  Even if you have already attended a code meeting this year for another club or sport, you must come in order to be eligible to participate next week at Southwest. 

GBU Boys Swim Team
On Saturday the GBU boys swim team competed at the State Swim Meet in Madison! The team placed 13th overall in the State Meet! Placing 8th in the Medley Relay were John Gahnz, Ben Georgia, Kaiser Neverman, and Kaen Baxter Phillips.  John Gahnz placed 8th in the 100 Back and 13th in the 200 Individual Medley.  Kaiser Neverman took home a 3rd place medal in the 100 Butterfly and 16th in the 50 Free.  Kaen Baxter Phillips took 12th in the 50 Free and 21st in the 100 Free.  The 400 Relay team of Riley Komp, John Gahnz, Kaen Baxter Phillips, and Kaiser Neverman took 12th place! Thank you to everyone who came down to state to support us and our awesome parents!! Congrats to all the guys on a great season!

Girls Track and Field
We have a team sign up meeting today, after school in Room 265, the health rooms.  This meeting is important to attend in order to receive the proper information needed for the upcoming season.  The meeting should only last about 30 minutes, but it’s important to show up and sign up for the new season.  If you have any questions, see Coach Kirchman.

Ice Bears Hockey Moves On To Regional Semi-Final
The Bay Area Ice bears defeated Arrowhead Friday night 7-1 in the regional final game.  Tonight, the Bears will host Appleton United at 7pm at the Cornerstone Arena in the Sectional Semi-Final.  Come support your favorite players as they continue to advance in the playoffs!

Language Arts Academic Team 
The Language Arts Academic Team will be meeting on Thursday during 5th hour lunch in Room 133.  We will be practicing trivia for our competition on Tuesday, March 7th.  Please grab your lunch and be in the room by 11:30. 

MAC Scholars 
MAC Scholars will meet tomorrow after school from 3:00 to 4:00 pm in Room 107. We will be going down to work in The Hive, so please remember to bring any donations you have. 

Math Team
Congratulations to the Preble math team for finishing fifth last night at the Green Bay Notre Dame Math Meet.  Individual Medal Winners were:  5th Place – Michael Vance

Midwest College and Future Expo
THe Midwest College and Future Expo will take place tonight, Tuesday, February 21st from 4-8 pm at ShopKo Hall. A shuttle service will be provided throughout the event at East and West High School for all Green Bay Area Public School students and parents.  The shuttle times are available in the Student Services office and main office.  

Highlights of the event include:
-Over 40 colleges and organizations
-New Scholars $1000.00 scholarship giveaway
-Bellin College
-Apprenticeship program
-EAA for Aviation careers

Please attend and bring a parent and /or a friend. 

Morning Speed and Agility
All off-season athletes. there are only two Wednesday morning speed and agility sessions left. Morning speed and agility is tomorrow from 6:15 - 7 am. This is a great way to make sure you are in shape for the start of your spring sport. 

Scholarship Update
Rashad Cobb from Greater Green Bay Community Foundation will be here tomorrow to help seniors apply for scholarships. He will be available during all three lunches in Room 124.  If you have any questions, please contact your counselor.

Special ACT Test Information
A special drawing will be held on Tuesday, February 28th.  Snacks will be provided during the tests on February 28th and March 1st.

Spring Play Crew Head
Any student interested in being a Crew Head for the Spring Play, we will be having an introductory meeting tonight from 3:15-3:45 in Room 159. We will be going over paperwork and filling out applications. If you have any questions, please see Mr. Schuh in 159.

Student Council
Student Council members, we will be having a meeting tomorrow morning at 6:30 in Room 256. Please check your email for more details.

Also, this is a reminder to the following Student Council members: Lauren, Spencer, and Tori, that we have a meeting today after school in the LMC to discuss the upcoming Penny War.
