Bible Studies
Join us for the Bible Studies Club this Thursday, September 14th at 7:00 am in the Student Service Conference room. If you have further questions, please see Mrs. Nau in the Student Services Office.
 
Book Club
Book Club is discussing One of Us is Lying on Wednesday during all lunch hours.  Bring your lunch and enjoy the discussion!
 
FCCLA
Do you love to cook? Do you love working with kids? Are you looking to help out in the community? Are you looking to improve your leadership? If you answered yes to any of these questions, you should consider joining FCCLA this year. Our first meeting is on Thursday, September 14th in Room 137 at 3:00. Please see Ms. Blaney if you have any questions. 

Preble FFA
The Preble FFA will be hosting their first all member meeting of the year.  This is a great opportunity to learn how to get involved with many organizations within our community.  You can learn about scholarship opportunities, agriscience career development events and service projects.  We will be meeting next Thursday, September 14th from 3:10 until 4:30 pm in Room 187.......the Preble Agriscience Department.  This month’s community service project will be the Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary Walk.  Please stop by to enjoy pizza and learn about some great opportunities for this year.

Girls Golf
Yesterday,  the girls golf team finished 7th in the Sheboygan Invite at Town and Country. The team was led by Rachael Revolinski who finished 13th overall with a 95. Also contributing to the team were Jordan Hedsand 103, Zoe Vander Velde 103, Kaci Duquaine 106 and Emilie Petersen 110. 

Girls Swimming Results 
GBU Girls swim team attended the Appleton East Pentathalon along with eight other schools on Saturday. Each swimmer competes in five different events and the results are based on the final times of all of the events combined. Madi Wucherer swam Varsity and finished in 6th place! Congratulations Madi, Go GBU!

IMAC & College Bound
The first meeting of the year for MAC Scholars and College Bound will be tomorrow after school in Room 107.  Please come by for fun and information on college and careers! 

Key Club
Are you looking for a way to get involved in your school and community?  Are you looking to gain service hours?  If yes, then Key Club is the club for you.  Come to the informational meeting tomorrow at 3:15 in Room 131.  Learn more about our club and meet this year’s board members.  Snacks will be provided.  

Math Team
Math students, did you know that half of 18 is 10?  Or, that you can take 1 from 29 and have 30 left?  Then Math Team is for you!  
There will be an informational meeting today after school in Room 237 at 3:10 pm.  If you are unable to attend, stop by sometime this week and see Mr. Schwedrsky in Room 237.

One Act
Any students interested in being a part of the One Act team for this year, we will have a quick meeting today at 3:10 in Room 125. This will be a short meeting to determine interest. Any questions, please see Mr. Schuh.


PSAT
Juniors, are you looking for a way to practice college admissions tests and be considered for scholarship opportunities? Then consider taking the PSAT test on the morning of Wednesday, October 11th beginning at 7:30 a.m. here at Preble. Online registration is now open and will close at 11:59 p.m. on Monday, October 9th.  The cost of the test is $20.00.  There are a limited number of seats available, so be sure to register as soon as possible!! Once you complete your registration, please pick up your PSAT Student Guide in Student Services. 

Skills USA
Skills USA will be meeting on Thursday, after school in Room 151.  All students who are interested in joining are welcome.

StingCancer
Have you ever wondered what StingCancer is or what this club does? Come join us for an informational meeting on Thursday at 3:10 in the library, to see what we are all about and hear about the great things we do for those dealing with cancer.   

Student Council 
Student Council members from last school year, there will be a meeting this Wednesday morning in Room 256 at 6:30 am.

Students, Student Council will be hosting the first blood drive this coming Monday, September 18th. If you are interested in giving to someone in need, you may sign up in the office or see a student council member. Remember to sign a parent consent form if you are 16 and you need a picture ID with your birth date for the day of the blood drive. Any questions email Mrs. Hilden.
