Anime Club
The Anime Club will have an organizational meeting today at 3:00 PM in room 200.

AP T-shirt
AP students who want to order an AP t-shirt, are reminded that they need to get their orders to their AP teacher or Mr. Yonts in Room B116 by Tuesday, October 3rd.

Boys Basketball Sign up
If you are interested in playing boys basketball this year, we will be having a sign up on Tuesday, October 3rd after school in the big gym.  If you cannot attend, please contact Coach Wall.

Boys Cross Country
The boys cross country team were the Pulaski Invitational champions for both JV and Varsity.  The varsity team beat 15 other teams and averaged a 16:51 for top 5 guys which included Dawson Borley (3rd place), Salvador Sierra (5th place), Nick Verheyden (7th place), Jasper Rosenau (18th place), and freshman Josh Helgeson with personal best time of 17:16.  

The JV team had their third "perfect score" meet of season and had the top 7 runners in the race.  Chandler Vincent was the JV champion followed by Alick Corbley, Joe Engler, Bryce Legois, Christian Schommer, Phillip Balch, and Tyler Nugent.  The boys cross country team is currently ranked 5th in the state."

FBLA Info Meetings
The Preble chapter of the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) will hold two informational meetings next Tuesday, October 3rd.  What is FBLA?  As an FBLA member,  you will compete in business related competitions, tour local businesses, give back to the community and enjoy social activities.   

The FBLA meetings will be held on Tuesday in Room 146 at either 7:05 am or 3:05 pm.  Please see a business teacher in Room 144 with any questions.

Today is game day for the Preble Hornets! Come and cheer on your varsity football team tonight at Gauthier Family stadium as they take on Notre Dame Academy. Kickoff is at 
7 pm. We need you to make some noise!

Golden Apple Awards
Partners in Education, a program of the Greater Green Bay Chamber is kicking off the 25th annual Golden Apple Awards.  Each year, the Golden Apple Awards celebrates educational excellence.  Students are encouraged to nominate their teacher or teams of teachers for the award before before Friday, October 27th.  Nomination forms are available in the main office and online at

Homecoming T-shirts
Today is the last day to pre-order a Homecoming t-shirt. Place your order in the main office by 3:30pm. T-shirts are $10.

The Homecoming Court results are in...drum roll please!

For the freshman class we have Jagger Vine and Abigail Rouse. 

Next we have the sophomore class. For the males we have Aiden Arquette and Phillip Balch and for the females we have Natalie Keen and Haley Schuh.

Then we have the junior class. For the males we have Nate Becker, Jules Tempierre, Luke Nussbaum, and Nick Hummel, and for the females we have Isabel Farrell, Allison Hiltunen, Grace Taylor, and Stephanie Jones.

Lastly we have the senior class. For the males we have Camden Wall, Bogy Dimitrov, Lucas Henjum, Gavin Buergi, and Pascal King, and for the females we have Megan Flood, Taylor Beres, Chloe VandenHouten, Gabrielle Parkos, and Kristan Molling.   

Congratulations to all of you on Homecoming Court. There will be a mandatory meeting today after school, in the Main Office at 3:05. You can check your email for more details. Please email Mrs. Enderby with any questions.

The PSAT registration has now been opened to Sophomores!! Any sophomore or junior that is interested in taking the PSAT, the registration deadline has been extended through next week. Make sure to register online. The test is on Wednesday, October 11th and is $20.00. The registration instructions and PSAT student guides are in Student Services. Come pick up your student guide to start working on practice questions today.

Spirit Week
Students, homecoming week starts next week! Join the fun by dressing up, looking for hall hunts, decorating your classroom door, and going to the dance. Homecoming tickets are on sale all week, in the main office, during your lunch and after school, for just $10. The homecoming dance is next Saturday, October 7th from 7:30-10:30.  To kick off homecoming week, on Monday, you can dress up in your comfy sweats or roll out of bed and come to school in your pajamas! No slippers should be worn. The hall hunt for Monday is the sleeping mask. If you find a picture of a sleeping mask in the hallways, take it to the Main Office to redeem your prize. Hope to see everyone dressed up. Keep your spirit high as we enter Homecoming week! Go Hornets‼

Also, staff, if you are decorating a door please sign up on the Google Doc no later than next Thursday. The top three doors will win a prize! 

Just a reminder that float applications for next week’s homecoming parade are due today after school. The forms can be turned into the main office.

Students, if you are interested in decorating the windows in the main entrance, please meet outside the main office today at 3:05. Student Council members are expected to attend. Mrs. Hilden will meet you to decorate. 

Would you like to find out what yearbook is all about?  Come to the next meeting on Tuesday, October 3rd in Room 114 after school.  We will be looking at cover and theme ideas, as well as taking your suggestions.  Please stop by.
