Three teachers hold Golden Apple Awards and smile
GBAPS Staff Earn 2026 Golden Apple Awards

Four Green Bay Area Public Schools educators were honored with 2026 Golden Apple Awards with surprise celebrations on February 17, 2026.

The following GBAPS teachers earned 2026 Golden Apple Awards:

  • Weston Berndt - Preble High School
  • Andrew Crane - Southwest High School
  • Alex Downing - Red Smith School
  • Jen Kelm - Baird Elementary School

The Greater Green Bay Chamber's Golden Apple Awards recognizes these educators for their high standards of professionalism, leadership and innovation in teaching.

Award recipients will be recognized at the 33nd Golden Apple Awards on April 22, 2026.
