Eligibility Requirements:
Students must play a woodwind, brass, or percussion instrument at the high school level.  It is highly recommended that students be enrolled in a music class. 

Description:
The Jazz Ensemble II plays classic, standard, and contemporary music for jazz ensemble.  The styles range anywhere from swing, funk to Latin music.

Time Commitment:
Once a week for 1 hour. 

Procedures for Joining:
Students must audition for placement in Jazz bands. See Mrs. Sweeney for audition times or email her at [email protected]. 

Activity Time Period:
Will run depending on number of students. Year round, the groups participate in a winter concert, solo & ensemble, a spring concert, a Midwest jazz festival, and any other performance opportunities that may arise.
