Eligibility Requirements:
Any Preble student who auditions. 

Description:
Students attend competitions at local high schools for sub-district and district competitions.  If they receive a qualifying score, they advance to state for competition in Madison.  Students can compete in individual categories by writing and giving their own speeches, interpreting poetry or prose, performing a demonstration, or telling stories.  They can also participate as a group by competing in group interpretation or play acting. 

A great opportunity to meet students from other schools with similar interests. 

Time Commitment:
Three tournaments per year, after school practice with coach and other teammates.  Tournaments last approximately 4 hours. 

Procedures for Joining: 
Register on the Online Registration process on this page. Students will attend a monthly team meeting. Each student is to meet weekly with their coach for twenty minutes to go over their material.

Activity Time Period:
Mid-December through April
