Academic Decathlon

On Friday, the Academic Decathlon team competed at regionals.  7 of the 9 team members placed, which included 1st place ribbons won by Daijah Vivians,Alex Jolly, Leland Bartikofsky, Ian Henjum, and Zach Wittman.  A special shout out to 

Daijah Vivians for placing 2nd overall in the scholastic division.   The team took 3rd overall.

Dance Team

The team attended the Kaukauna classic this weekend and earned a 1st place trophy in D1 Kick and a 2nd place trophy in D1 Pom! 2 soloists, Michaela Eberhardt and Anah Hansen placed in the top half of their category as well.  Congratulations to all!

Forensics Reminder to all Forensics students that we will be having a mandatory team meeting tonight at 3:10 pm in Room 123. Please ensure that you have your agenda to start scheduling coaching times. Any questions, please see Mr. Schuh or Mrs. Horachek.

Language Arts Academic Team

Our next language arts academic team meeting will be on Wednesday, January 22nd to allow for you to focus on your upcoming final exams.  If you have not already done so, please stop by Room 129 and pick up your copy of this year’s competition novel Lord of the Flies.      


Link Crew

Attention all Freshmen, tomorrow, Tuesday, January 14th, is our annual Cocoa & Cram. This is an opportunity for you to study for your exams after school. It will take place in the LMC from 3 until 4pm. Link Leaders will be there to help answer any questions you may have about semester exams, as well as provide an area for you to study. There will be hot chocolate and snacks,too. Bring your friends and come study!


MAC Scholars MAC Scholars will not meet this week.  Study hard for final exams! Spring Play

The spring play is looking for student director candidates for the spring production of Puffs. Students should have at least two years production experience and strong organization and communication skills. Please stop in Room123 by Tuesday, January 21st for an application. Any questions, please see Mr. Schuh.


Auditions for Puffs will be held on Wednesday, January 29th in room 123. All students should have a one minute comedic monologue prepared. Perusal scripts will be available in the LMC starting on Thursday, January 16th. Any questions, see Mr. Schuh.



StingCancer

On Tuesday, January 21st, StingCancer and Preble girls basketball team, will be partnering together for “Hoops for Hope.”   There will be ribbon cookies, long sleeved t-shirts, and a raffle to help support StingCancer. During halftime, there will be a Miracle Minute while Preble’s drumline performs.  Come join the fun and cheer on our Lady Hornets.

Talent Show Hey all you talented people, the talent show is going to be so much fun!  

To be in the show you must show us your act at one of the audition times on Wednesday, January 22nd, Monday, January 27th or Wednesday, January 29th from 3:10 to 3:50 pm in the auditorium.

Please make sure to sign up for an audition time at the Career Center table in the LMC.

All appropriate acts will be included in the show – there are no cuts.
